Nice airy place to hang out and rest. Coming from Hawaii you look for places that has lots of space. They had some kind of event and was curious to see. There is a McDonalds to go too and a clean bathroom next to it.

Nice park with lots of little bits to see. Stumbled upon it while walking around Nagoya - nice place for a break.

I went there during cherry blossom season and the park was ver beautiful. It is even more beautiful at night. The lights in the park make this place look tremendously beautiful and a great place to relax. Or if you are not into relaxing, there is always something going on so that you are never bored, no matter when you... More

Went here during autumn. Its a very nice park to stroll around. Near the TV Tower and Oasis 21. The foliage was very nice during autumn. I'm planning to go back during spring

When I'm bored and not sure what to do, I just walk down to this part. There's always a festival, beer garden, or something going on on the weekends. Check it out.

Visiting Nagoya should involve visiting Sakae. And this Park runs straight through Sakae and all the way up to Nagoya Castle. If you are in Sakae you are visiting this park whether you want or not since both Oasis 21, tv tower are located in this park. Also just crossing the street often means entering hte park. so you do... More

I went to the park because of the advertisement about the Akari Night. The park was lighted and it was beautiful against the lighted Nagoya TV Tower.

Big green space in the middle of Nagoya. Tv tower is situated here. What made this for me and what you might be lucky and see on a Sunday morning is when the "Japanese Elvis's" come out and dance in the park! Brilliant!

I don't know if you can call it a park. But it's a green area inside a big city. It's a calm place where you can sit and rest after lunch, having a good cappuccino and maybe reading a book. It's a nice lace to relax after an afternoon of shopping.

We have walked through and sat in the area called Hisaya Odori, not really a park but an area of trees and small ponds. Still quite pleasant for a stroll or short break from the city, but not worthy of a special visit. Sakae and all it's attractions such as Oasis 21, TV Tower are nearby.
