There is nothing much to see - just a bunch of ruins (rocks). There are far better and more interesting ruins to see in other parts of Jordan.

Sorry this is the King Hussein Mosque in Aqabastad.What you call Aqaba Archaeological Museum is in fact Islamic Ayla City!

I had an interesting and calm walk around the city. Many sign and banners that behold history and guidance. Very beautiful at nigh with special lighting.

i visited this new mosque in the center of aqaba .it is nice and clean along with mosque it was facing in aqaba red sea .it is clean and very fantastic design.i even visited inside ..i was astonish with the amazing design of the place..

There's not much there, just a few holes and unearthed ruins, but it's a quick way to get an overview of Aqaba's history.

Interesting site excavated by University iof Chicago scholars. Not much to see if you are not knowledgable about archaeology and early Islamic history.

Seen the importance of this site, you'd expect more visitors to discover this old settlement. The site is still being excavated, but you can see very beautiful things. The guard is super friendly, he even gave us a small private tour!
