It is a little full on but if you dont want to be over run with ppl selling you stuffand want to take your time than come here. The prices were cheaper than Han. But not all the shops were open when we were there.Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 18 November 2023
- mzzyap3,392 contributionsCon Market is across Go! (Big C) Supermarket in Da NangWe looked around to experience the difference between Con Market and Han Market. There's definitely less tourists here, mostly locals going about their business. The major "tourist shopping" happens at Han Market.Visited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 2 March 2024
- Harry NDa Nang, Vietnam17 contributionsCon Market is one of Danang symbol for a long historyTop ranking must go in Danang visit. If you want experience something local and traditional, Con Market, it is. You can go around to visit and shopping many many cheap stuffs which you will need here ($1-$5). Bargain is possible and you should. Some store is public price so it's hard to Bargain. They have a stress of second-hand cloths. It is fun to shop and bargain here. Exceptional is Local Food. You can fill fully your stomach with delicious and unique food with only $2 dollar. Every dishes are around $1-$2. Yes, $1 only for a good meal. That is how local Danang living cost. Very affordable for a beautiful City with river, mountain, peninsula, and beaches.Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 7 July 2024

Go for the experience of being barged and shouted at to get out the way. This is a high intensity sport where you have to look in every direction with women rushing to compete their jobs. Full of beggars coming back to try their luck on you over and over again very few minutes, and women pleading with you to eat at their stall.
Eating at the stall, you feel pressured to order whatever they ask you to buy. To be honest, one of the dishes were quite nice but the popular avocado smoothie had ice cream on top and was not good.
Was also a bit off putting to see a rat hide under one of the tables though.. but that’s to be unexpected due to how unhygienic the place was :/
The only positive is that the food is ok apart from that just go for the one off experience of getting harassed in the chaos

Read all comments I decided to go to this market. But my expectations was not met. Nothing special to buy. Cashew, dried mango and Vietnam coffee- if this is what you are looking to buy then it is right place to go.
Clothes there very low quality. Very cheap. I would rather go to Lotte Mart.
The market are crowded by tourists from the South Korea and sellers talk in Korean language.

Whew! So much to see and buy. I had the pleasure to experience a Vietnamese market. All the stalls we stopped at, the vendors were all nice and friendly. If I had any questions about a product, they can explain it to me through my guide. I loved to see a myriad of teas. I bought ginger tea. So good! My guide insisted I try some of the local desserts. It was ok, so filling. Of course the fruit smoothies caught my eye, and I had to try their avocado/jackfruit. 😋. So refreshing! Try to be careful as some motorbikes can drive inside the market.

It's a local market with many stalls of Vietnamese local food. It's not my liking as I find it dark, cramped, hot and dirty as it looks like. So I just spent 2 mins here. I saw quite some visitors here though.
I would prefer the air conditioned Go! supermarket around the corner of the same street.

If you want to try Danang local food, just one step access to Con Market, you've got everything. Local people very very friendly with good taste local dishes. I'll be back next year with my family.

Went to Con Market on the last day, was a pity that we didn't go earlier!
Sells everything - food, dried goods, clothing, kitchenware, home goods, shoes, food centre inside too! Stretches about over 2 streets.
Less crowded in comparison to Han Market, with more reasonable prices. Also seems to have more locals - so it's good if you want a feel of the local market scene rather than the touristy situation happening in Han Market.
Something different from Han is that they also have a number of electrical goods stores nearby - clocks, watches, fans, etc etc. Also shoe repairs.
Seems to have more units than Han as well.

We visited this market rather than Han after talking to some local people. We went in the morning. It was quite hot, but not stifling and walking around was fine. Not once did anyone grab us or try and pull us into their stall. Prices- some ridiculously high for a fake bag 1.2m no haggling, others same bag 400k after a bit of to and fro. I paid less than £5 for two very good Nike dry fit t-shirt copies. Also, if it gets too much, a large shopping centre is diagonally opposite if you need to cool down.
