About
Han Market’s ground level is where locals shop for fresh vegetables, seafood, and butchered meat in the early morning. There are also numerous fruit stalls set in front of the market, where you can purchase tropical fruits such as bananas, mangoes, durian, and jackfruit. Ideal as souvenirs for loved ones back home, make sure you stock up on prepacked chilli paste, Ly Son garlic, rice crackers, and dried squid, all of which are available on the same floor. Especially, that you can buy many products such as icons of Hoi An, Danang, Banahills and Golden Gates, ... There some shops are selling lovely ceramics and rattan bags with unique designs and good price. Thank you so much for visiting us.

Great place to buy budget food, clothes, shoes souvenirs and luggage. Offer half what they quote and go up 10-15%. Crowded most of the time. Great food paces nearby.

Should be everyone first agenda in danang for the beach wear
Extremely crowded place. Full of tourists. Still a better option compared to Con Market. Tip to visit this as first day to purchase some beach attire etc (everyone seems to be getting them). After Han Market, walk down to Con market (1km away). Han market is mainly for local so there isn't much to buy. Then end off with Big C(just beside Con market) to buy your grocery etc for your trip.

    Visit to Han Market
You can get local snacks, coffee, clothes, etc from here. Do allocate 1.5 to 2 hours shopping here. Do remember to bargain for a better price as I was ripped off ond my 1st purchase and I realised that Korean got better deal than us without much bargaining. 😅

    Great local shopping experience.
Visited here as part of a cruise shore excursion and thoroughly enjoyed the hustle and bustle that is to be expected. Had to mark a point down as sometimes got pushed about as walkways are so narrow but didnt bother most people. Loved the vibrancy and the food and souvenirs with plenty of choices and prices to suit many pockets! If we had more time we could have spent more money here!

Must visit local market (better than Danang night market). Full of knock offs (brand) and a shopping galore
1st floor is food stuff. 2nd floor is apparels. Stores sell basically identical items. Just need to find one who can communicate. Bargaining is a must but price down is limited. Very squeezing with the close stores layout and the crowd.

    Good place for bargain shopping
This is a sheltered market with stalls selling a huge varieties of local produce such as dried seafood, dried mangoes, cashew nuts, snacks, straw products like bags, hats, household items etc. It can be stressful or fun to bargain for everything depending on whether one has the experience on how to strike a bargain. I was amazed at how many languages the stall owners here could speak and even how fast they could convert the price to whatever currencies of the places of origin of their clients.

Chaotic and crowded market with cheap stuff
The first floor had all the dried food stuff and food for eating. We only bought some local sweets from one of the stalls and did not try the food there. We proceeded to second floor where there were lots of cheap shoes, bags and clothes, including sports related wear. The place was very crowded with tourists who would push one another to walk past. The sellers were rude and if you ask for a size to try, they will expect you to buy it after that. Prices wise, you can bargain slightly but not all of them will bulge. Many of the shops sell similar items. As a gauge, a sports-branded tee would cost about 50,000dong depending on which shop you buy from.

    Not bad
Crowded with tourists. Bargain is a must but don’t expect a 50% cut. Averagely 10% or 20% is pretty decent as their prices are not that high after all if all of us compared back with the originals back in our countries. Just note some ladies at the clothes/shoes shops can be quite rough and will scold you if you touch and don’t buy. So just stay friendly. Some of them are okay.

Must ask more than 40% of discount. They already increased all the items price.
There are cheap ones and expensive ones, but they all seem to have the same starting point. After that, all you have to do is negotiate with the lady you like or the store clerk. It was half the price of the tourist spot I went to last time, so I ended up buying it without even negotiating. I was surprised. Of course, there are some products that I think are expensive. Isn't it okay to attack with any amount you like? ? 🧐 If you don't look closely, it may be torn, frayed, or broken.

Good place to purchase There are so many people and it’s noisy. Be careful with your belongings.
Han Market is very lively. There are many freshly cut fruits and juices at the entrance near the Han River on the first floor. Mango slices and mango juice are sweet and sour. Going inside, there are many dried fruits and groceries. The prices of each stall are different. Do some comparisons before purchasing. It would be better. I finally bought dried jackfruit (recommended), and the second floor is for clothing accessories. All in all, the Han Market is very easy to visit. You can arrange it before packing your luggage the day before returning home to increase the weight of your luggage!

when visit vietnam cities,i always go to their market,so last year when visited Da Nang in september,i went to Han Market to have a look.its location very close to Han river, that's why it called Han market.like every markets in vietnam, you can find many thing here, and can see daily life of locals.the upper level is where you can purchase home appliances, souvenirs, cosmetics, and fabrics. Some of Da Nang’s top tailors also set up shop in Han Market.on the ground floor, there are stalls selling fresh vegetables, seafood, and butchered meat in the early morning. There are also numerous fruit stalls set in front of the market, where you can purchase tropical fruits.its indoor food stalls are worth a try, also there are stalls selling snacks on the same floor, like nuts, dried fruits,biscuits...i bought two big cashew nuts in the plastic containers.the price is reasonable.of course after bargain, though a bit hard to get a good price.if i have time will come to explore it again.

There’s better markets elsewhere in Vietnam but if you want a typical market experience it’s worth the visit. Downstairs had fresh food, sweets and other local foods. Upstairs is clothing, footwear, bags - traditional and knock off brands. A lot of the stalls have the same items, but there’s some unique gems if you are patient to look and don’t allow yourself to get deterred by ongoing bombardment of stall owners. Start bargaining at 50% of the asking price - don’t feel guilty about it because we noticed locals are charged even less than this. Also, inside Han Market there’s no air conditioning and you need to pay for the toilets which aren’t as clean as we’re used to (buy a meal/drink at a nearby cafe and use the facilities there instead!).
Overall we found shopping in Hoi An was better in terms of choice and quality, as well as a far more pleasant experience.

A covered 2-story market located in downtown area. Went there upon hotel recommendation, and honestly not impressed.

Very crowded and full of tourists. Merchandise is repetitive and prices on the high side with a low margin for bargaining. Many vendors seems fed-up with tourists, and will not smile or act friendly, either bored or slightly aggressive attitude.

I bought some coffee making machines for 20k each bargained my way down from 30 k.

You will find coffee, dried fruits, dried fish and seafood, as well as various souvenirs. Second floor is mainly clothing.

My worst part was when one souvenir shop gave me back a fake 10k bill as change. I noticed note colors were fading away, so checked in the hologram for the note number to verify authenticity, and was fake. I objected to vendor and she changed it straight away no questions asked and as if nothing has happened. Be careful receiving fake change, you have been warned!

If you have visited similar covered markets before, skip it, not worth it.

Not recommended!

Han Market or Chợ Hàn locate in the center of Da Nang city. You can easily find specialities, dried food and souvernir here. But remember to bargain a bit. They also sell cute local clothes, bag. Sellers are very nice. If you don’t buy they won’t bother you.

If you want to buy cheap cheap gifts for family friends then this is your place. Merchants are pushy follow you, merchandise is crappy, they say they have tailors onsite you would not buy a good shirt here! We took s cab there and back across the bridge but yourself a beer and save time, who'd e tells you it's worth your time is not being truthful. I do not recommend.

This is your typical crazy marketplace. It gets both tourists and locals shopping there.
If you are a white western person, the first thing to understand is that whatever price they start with, it will be double the retail price, so even if you do negotiate it down by 50%, you are now just paying the standard price..lol
The locals get the local prices.
But it can be fun, especially if you are buying low-cost items anyway, like coffee or hats, it doesn't really matter if you lose a couple of dollars.
But be more careful with expensive stuff, google some prices if you can.

Currently, it is a package tour course and there are many group tourists, so the narrow market streets are in chaos.
It is full of people buying small and large souvenirs. The majority are 70% Korean, 20% Chinese, and other Central Asians. You can think of the prices of goods in the market as being the same as the value of each country. Men in their 30s to 50s and 60s have nothing to buy, but there are a lot of children's accessories, other clothes, shoes, bags, and souvenirs.

I went to Con Market before this. Surprised at how busy Han market is compared to the other. At the time I visited, the 2nd floor was flooded with Korean tourists. They were grabbing clothes with branded prints e.g. nike, adidas. If you are into such things, I suppose the price must be better than in Seoul. It was too crowded for us. 1st floor was filled with Viet food produce - including fruits. They all sells similar stuff though. I spotted a rat while walking around at the market place. Personally, I prefer Con Market to this.
