Sadly this attraction is closed most of the day, the decorations were tacky and there were no toilets. The Danang Cathedral's only saving grace was its architecture. Not worth the effort unless you are a Cathedral fan.

The symbol building for Danang. but it is not that special, but it will help you to memorize it if you study about this one. Light pink cathedral, it will be okay to stop by during trip.

It's a church.I don't understand why it's considered a tourist attraction. Is it because it's in Vietnam?

Had a great Holy master in 24th Dec night and the service was indeed very ceremonial and we enjoyed so much. The choir was excellent and the place was packed with so many people.

We did not get to see the interior of the cathedral. But the place is nice for a visit. There are many sculptures around and the little lambs sculptures around the cathedral makes the place looks sacred.

It's sacred in popular belief of Cathedral, the opening hours is 9am~5pm with break time in the middle, no entrance fee, we design to go there many times, but all in the night and cathedral is closed, finally we just have a look on the round, just reminder some visitor the cathedral open the door on the right hand side... There is only one English Mass - 1000. If you google the mass times, you may see 0900 pop up on other travel sites/blogs. This is wrong. I asked the church staff afterwards and they confirmed that the 1000 is the English mass. Great little church. Excellent sound system, with flat screens to help lead the congregation. Friendly, and it... More

Actually went to a service and out of curiosity it compares nicely with St Pauls in Rockhampton , Qld, Australia. I am not really one for visiting churches and Cathedrals, but Vietnam has some very nice church buildings and was nice to see.
