I drove my wife on our motorbike from Danang to Nui Than Tai Park, it was an enjoyable ride with natural mountainous scenery. Thinking that we could swim in natural hot springs and hot spring fed pool in a totally natural setting, we were excited. As we drove up the drive there were busloads of tourists, many kids but we paid our $20 each and went in.
To our disappointment it looked like an older amusement park with fake dinosaurs making roaring sounds. We continued to walk to the "hot spring" pool. It was tiny shallow and just a kiddie pool basically so we didn't swim. Proceded to the so called hot springs, it was a tiny man made concreted like area too.
All of the loud screaming and laughing kids were having fun but this is not what we expected at all so we left. Enjoyed the ride and stopped a drank some good coconut though :)

Awesome place. They have many things to see...reasonably priced tickets. The dino park was good, hot springs were refreshing and water park was awesome. Highlight is that the toilets are clean and area well maintained with pleasant staffs

Didn't know there are natural hot springs here in Vietnam.
Have been to several in Japan, and hubby honestly likes this better because:
1. There were 15 large pools/ mud baths/ Jacuzzis/ water park slides for young and old + 3 temperatures of onsen pools (40 degrees, 30-32 degrees, 18-20 degrees Celsius).
2. We were there in January/ winter in this region. Awesome weather for soaking.
Also, much fewer people during this winter/ just before Tet/ pandemic season --- hygiene, privacy, service were at their best.
3. Enjoyed our walks in the life-size, motion-sensor Dinosaurs Park. Numerous species of dinosaurs, well-landscaped park and a large lake (for the plesiosaurus!).
4. Onsen/ Hanjuku eggs a must-have to complete the Japanese onsen experience. Fun watching the those eggs freshly cooked and rolling in the steaming pools.
5. We had spring water flowing directly into our room's marble bath tub. No need to book a private cabana. The kids loved watching their English cartoon channels while soaking in the room's tub.
Not-so-great:
1. Both water parks (one with the floats near the hotel, the other was higher up on the mountain with the 3-storey slides) were chilly during winter of 17 degrees Celsius and the kiddos caught a cold after a 10-minute dip. But they still loved it.
2. Nothing on their list of 9D nor 12D films on their schedule were being shown. Only a 5-minute buggy show which hung often and we sat on stools that were on an overly-vibrating platform.
3. Without the crowd, ain't much activity going on. No dinosaur performers nor dinosaur ride operators around at the Dinosaurs Park.
4. Only one restaurant in the entire resort, with okay food. We liked the a la carte buffet breakfast though. Western, continental, Asian options available.
Some extra tips:
1. It costs 300,000vnd per person after 2pm (off-peak) or 3pm (peak) to enter this Nui Thanh Tai Ebisu Hot Springs Park. We decided to book a room, which included entrances to all the facilities and buffet breakfasts for the four of us. Good deal.
2. Been to Da Nang several times and were bored of the beaches. This was something different, refreshing, and relaxing. Fun addition to your itinerary, just 20 minutes from Bana Hills' base station and 30 minutes from the airport/most other beachfront hotels.

Today I also take a group of 12 adults, 1 kid, 2 infants to Hot Spring Park. The weather in Danang these days is so hot that we feel the water park gives us a lot of energy. We go around and I introduce some information about the place, which make me a litle bit tired 🤣🤣🤣 After finish my job, I give free time for my passengers and enjoy the sauna myself. Make your job as your passion, you can enjoy your life from 7am till 7pm then enjoy life from 7pm till 7am with your love, your family

Going to a coastal city but going to the mountains instead? Actually, because it rains, I can't swim in the sea, so I accidentally discovered a place that is very familiar to locals but new to me.
1. Where is Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park?
Located about 30km from Da Nang city. It takes about 30-40mins to move. You should go from 8:30 am to be able to experience all the services at Than Tai Mountain.
2. Ticket price
General ticket price 800.000VND/person. Includes services such as:
Natural lake mineral bath
Mud bath services
Lunch is included
Pool sauna, wet sauna
Have fun at the water park
Watch movies 9D - 12D for free
Visiting Than Tai Temple
Have fun at Dinosaur Park
Visiting Orchid Flower Street
Sightseeing, taking photos at points in the campus of Than Tai Mountain
3. What to play in Than Tai mountain?
Dinosaur Park
Children who go here are guaranteed to love it because the dinosaurs here are all equipped with sensors. Every time someone comes, the dinosaur will move - blink - growl =)))
Temple of Gods
This is a unique spiritual place, but I am an atheist, so please forgive me =))
WATER PARK
I played a lot at the water park, most of the games at the water parks are the same such as tube slide, lazy river, wave pool, double float, but there is one more game in Than Tai mountain. where there is Riding Dragon to win Dragon Ball. This game you will have to wear a hat + protective gloves. Anyone who weighs more than 80kg can't participate haha
NATURAL HOT MINERAL SPRING AREA
If Quang Hanh hot spring is Japanese style, Tram Tau hot spring is Northwestern style, the hot spring area at Than Tai Mountain has a mountain style surrounded by mountains and vegetation. Primarily, hot water at Than Tai Mountain is naturally directed, from an estimated depth of over 1000m from underground through the fault zone. Temperatures up to 75°C.
Bathing in hot mineral springs here, remember to eat longevity eggs. It is said that each egg will add 10 years to your life
MUD BATH
One of the indispensable experiences when coming to Than Tai Mountain is a mud bath (or tea, wine, lemongrass, coffee, milk).
Cons - about Than Tai Mountain tourist area
1. The games at the water park are open according to the time frame. Which means, you have to wait 30 minutes to 1 hour until the opening time frame to play, so sometimes it will make you quite uninterested =))) like you really want to play but you have to wait =))
2. This area is too large, you should arrange a reasonable timeline so that you can experience all the services or should ask the staff for guidance or not know what to play before and what to play next.

My very honestly opinion, if you can purchase your ticket to the max (around 750 vnd or 40 USD) then you go for it, don’t be cheap cause it’s cost you the day of enjoyable. For the expensive ticket, you can go to privacy areas and enjoy the time. At the hot spring, there is one kid ask his parents for peeing, and his dad told him to pee right in the spot. The foot sauna near by has trash flown around like cigarette butts.

The prices were really confusing. We had to pay 250k per person to buy a standard package, which included a water park ticket and a lot of things we weren't interested in. I think we could have bought a single bath for less but it was difficult to understand.
My first experience taking a mud bath was awesome. I wish the bath would have been hotter, but a very relaxing experience with friends over all.
The hot hot spring was hard to find, but worth it. There are pools of all different temperatures and depths for swimming, wading, and relaxing.
The trees and environment were really pretty.
I also appreciated the river bottom being somewhat cemented to make it very easy to walk across.

It was very far from the city, appox 40km and in a remote area which passed the beautiful rural of Da Nang. It was raining when we were there so there was not so many tourists. The building looked too old and dull and it made the place just like a ghost town. Staff was very friendly but price was very expensive. We were asked to buy the entrance ticket which cost VND300,000 and onsen ticket at VND150,000 per person even though we said that we wanted to use the onsen only! It was ridiculous that we didn't use any services in the package of VND300,000 but had to pay!

This hot water pool is ideal for swimming, and especially in the winter, there is plenty of fresh air, where there is plenty of room and service for $ 300.000 vnd
