An amazing whirlwind tour through the streets, stalls and restaurants of Hoi An. We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from Phouc's 33 years worth of local knowledge. It was interesting to learn about the different districts, families and foods that make Hoi An what it is. Everything about the tour was a pleasure. Thank you Phouc... More

Phouc enthusiasm, passion and knowledge is hard to not enjoy. Make sure you are in comfy shoes and ready for a lot of walking. We weren't really prepared for as much walking as we did and didn't help with a very hot day and with 11 yo twins who toughed it out. Also, the food was interesting and at times... More

We did the Eat Hoi An street food tour with the wonderful Na. If you love to try new foods from different cultures, this tour is just for you. Na was an excellent guide as we toured the streets outside the tourist focussed centre of Hoi An. She introduced us to each stall owner, explained their background and described the... More

Where to begin? Firstly, Phuoc is an absolute pleasure as a tour guide! His local knowledge and expertise in the traditional and local specialties of Hoi An are unparalleled! He's spent his entire life cultivating relationships and knowledge on the streets of Hoi An. Each vendor was expertly chosen and provided a wonderful array of local life, tastes, sounds, and... My husband and I attended a cooking class today. We first of all visited the vegetable fields where the local people grew a numerous vegetables and herbs in very organised plots. We then met our chief chef and teacher Huynh huu Phuoc who explained what we would be cooking and demonstrated how to prepare four courses. Her English was excellent... More

I did the Eat Hoi An tour which was an extensive tour of Hoi An's street food. Walking around with the guide, Phuoc was remarkable. He knew each and every vendor and gave such a great background of all the food we tasted. Loved the tour and would highly recommend it! Definitely come hungry!

We booked this tour at the last minute and were so glad we did. Our delightful guide met us at our hotel with bikes and we cycled into the old town to the market. Our guide explained all the wonderful items available in the market and we picked up the items we would need later for our cooking class. From... More

Phuoc is very professional and knowledgeable. We took the street food walking tour, and it was excellent. He thinks of everything - he even gave us bags to carry utensils and hand sanitizer, napkins, notebook with list of foods, etc. We tried foods we never would have known to try and learned exactly what was in them and how to... My wife and I took the Street Food Tour with Phuoc just before the Tet holiday. The tour is exactly as advertised ... a tour of many-many street food vendors. There are a lot of stops and lots of food. All of the food was excellent and we went to many places we might not normally have gone to. Phuoc... More

Did the street food tour with Phuoc. Phuoc is a knowledgeable and fun guide. The tour is as it states - a walk around the area of the old town stopping at over 6-7 street vendors and tasting a variety of food. It focuses on the few streets just out of the ancient town. Right at the start one realizes... More
