It used to be a beautiful beach with lot of sunbathers, shops, restaurants, but now, it is washed away and the city government of Hoi An has been trying to save it by putting many big sand bags to prevent the huge tides. Nothing to...More

Took a walk to the beach on our first day in Hoi An. It was pleasant to sit and relax for 30 min or so but definitely not a beach for swimming or sunbathing. The beach is narrow and has sand bags along the shoreline....More

Just a continuation of An Bang beach, you can walk for miles. Unspoilt. Lots of beachfront restaurants. Great.

This review is based on several visits during winter. I normally love a rugged winters day beach walk. I walked along the costal highway from AnBang to Cua Ai beach. The coastline is a strange no mans land, derelict wasteland. Interspersed with crumbling isolated resorts,new...More

Cua Dai beach is like a lost place during off season. But not in a romantic way. There are restaurants all over the beach which are open but seem to be deserted due to the lack of tourists. The sandy beach is covered with huge...More

This is not a swimming beach anymore. A couple of years ago beach erosion became so bad that huge, and I mean the size of humpback whales, sandbags were placed along the shoreline. In order to get into the water you, literally, have a climb...More

Not really sure why so many travel blogs / books mention Cui Dai beach as being nice but that is a total misrepresentation. Their is no beach due to a massive erosion event back in 2014 I know I live here. The beach has never...More

The beach was really disappointing because of the recent typhoon. I have visited this beach before and it was stunning. The amount of plastic washed up was appalling when will everyone stop using plastic bags???

Our hotel, the beautiful Hoi An Essence Spa had free shuttles to a beach club at Cua Dai and yes it is not Thailand, but hey it's a nice afternoon activity if in town anyway, lost of similar looking beach clubs, we went with the...More

You will fly into Danang not Hoi An. Hoi An is not really a big town as far as travel times go. Any hotel will be able to arrange a cheap fast transfer for you. The taxis are an option also although language could be an... More
