    Peaceful and not very busy
Really peaceful beach, not nearly as busy as My Khe. If you’re looking to relax the resorts here are great. Post covid and monsoons there is a lot of construction, but we didn’t find it very noisy. It’s only a 10 minute cab to Hoi An. We’ll be back.

    CUA Dai is back!
A lot of old reviews mention the typhoon from years back that took out some of the beach. That did happen, but many of the businesses have built the beach back. If you want a lot of nice sand, go to one of those. Man’s restaurant is a nice place to rent a chair with the price of a drink or two.

    Nice beach away from tourists
Came back here after many years, so many things changed. Beautiful beach was washed away by the waves. So sad. But the government has been trying so hard to revive it. Still beautiful beach, perfect temperature for swimming or just strolling around and chill out at 1 of the bars along the beach.

    Peaceful and beautiful
Beautiful beach away from the hustle and bustle where you can relax for the day! Top tip, visit the little bar / restaurants for a sun lounger for £1.50 for the day which is then free if you eat. The food is lovely!

    Wonderful holidays in Cua Dai
After being destroyed by the typhoon, the beach was rebuilt and sea defences were installed. Beautiful sandy beach with palm trees, clear water, an ideal place for swimming and relaxation. Beach loungers are free with a drink order. The restaurants serve great seafood at decent prices. We stayed at the wonderful River Beach Hotel and had a great time. Near the hotel there is a small family restaurant Blue Wave, which serves excellent Vietnamese and Western dishes and the best banh mi.

Quite a lovely stretch of sand, that has undergone a-lot of work, to prevent the sand from washing away, at the starting point there is plenty of coconut palms, to enjoy the shade, also, locals offering drinks and souvenirs, along the walk, there is also many cafes and bars, that will feed and water you whilst enjoying there sun lounges. Definitely worth doing during a visit to Hoi An.

We went there in July for a relaxing afternoon. It was a great swim and the bars along the beach was perfect for some drinks and watch the sun set.

Last visited in April 2019 and returning this week, there’s been a huge change. Unfortunately, a typhoon in late 2022 has caused erosion and closure of many beach restaurants. There are efforts being made to help with recovery from the erosion. However, walking back towards our hotel, Boutique Hoi A Resort, the beach is in a terrible state. Loads of washed up rubbish, collapsed buildings and sadly even the remains of an animal. Very upsetting. Wouldn’t take much effort to get it cleaned up, but nobody seems to care. So sad 😢
