This restaurant is delicious and by far the most fun in Hoi An. From the moment the owner sweeps you inside the cavernous dining area to when you finish the last bit of food, Ba Le Well creates quite the experience.
Bahn Xeo is a classic Hoi An food and nobody does it better. Literally mountains of food—including greens, skewered meats, crispy rice pancakes, kimchee, and spring rolls—show up at your table, along with a staff member to show you how to combine it inside soft rice paper. Then the feast begins, seemingly enjoyed by one and all.
This was by far our favorite meal in Hoi An.
Don’t miss this restaurant. And come hungry.

Unfortunately the food didn’t match the previous reviews, unless we just ordered the wrong meal. But it all was deep fried, very oily and we didn’t finish our meals.

I must say we really liked this one, waiter shows you how to do it by yourself and you can mix whatever you want in it, its really cheap and it was tasty.

The array of local dishes and food won't let anyone down. It's definitely a must-try local food and well looked after by the friendly staff.

While they do offer other items the set menu is a well priced and great introduction to the deliciousness that is banh xeo.
You'll be served a veritable mountain of delicious food, banh xeo pancakes, fried spring rolls, 2 types of meat on a stick, a basket of assorted greens and their wonderful dipping sauce and then you'll be shown how to eat it.
Once you have chowed your way through the very generous portion you are given a lovely mousse dessert - mango or chocolate.
They staff and owners are friendly and attentive, although not annoyingly so.
We make it a point to visit at least once every trip to Hoi An. Honestly we would go more often as it is so tasty but the portions are huge.

The place is hidden through small street but worth the walk. A lot of people eating with their bare hands to rice wraps, pork and chicken skewers. The peanut sauce is to die for. Very good introduction to local cuisine. The price is reasonable and service is fast.

The food was amazing, so delicious and quality. The location was great, too. If you want to enjoy traditional Vietnamese food, should go there!

What a wonderful meal this place lays out for you.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here and at a terrific price.

Had dinner here - it’s a fixed menu and comes with all sorts of fillings- including local specialities - for rice paper rolls. Staff even offer to help show you how to make them ! It’s down a little alley off the major streets but well worth the effort to find and experience local food in a fun atmosphere. I had lots of fun !
