Description:

We’re much more than just a food tour – we’re a Vietnamese Food Expo...

We’re much more than just a food tour – we’re a Vietnamese Food Expo providing an entertaining opportunity to experience and learn about Vietnamese culture through its unique cuisine.

We start with the experience of the bustling local Hoi An market where we meet local vendors and taste some selected foods. We then walk a short distance to our comfortable tasting room for the tasting presentation of a wide selection of delicacies bought directly from local vendors - some of whom we saw or met in the marketplace.

Our package includes:

. Pick-up from local Hoi An hotels.

. Guided walking tour of markets, food producers and vendors

. Full commentary with English speaking hosts

. More than 30 different food and beverage tastings

. Complimentary non-alcoholic drinks

. Hygienic and safe food handling

. Comfortable tasting venue

. Printed list of foods offered

. Great photo opportunities

. Food and restaurant recommendations - and more

Sometimes people recommend activities to do whilst on your on holidays and your never quite sure to go ahead or not. We were thrilled to go on this tour. Definitely book ahead of time, make sure this is the first day of your Hoi An experience. The enormous variety of food that you will taste along the way is amazing,... More

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour, which gave a brilliant introduction to Vietnamese food, covering 40 different foods to sample. The food we sampled was excellent and the way it is split into two halves (the first with Ms. Sen, walking the streets and sampling food there; and the second with Neville back at the tasting room) worked really well. Ms.... More

From the first moment I met the lovely and gregarious Neville, to the final delicious bite, this tour provided more than I even imagined it could. It was the perfect introduction to both the city of Hoi An and Vietnamese food in general. We toured the markets and sampled different street foods that i would have never had the courage... More

We had the chance to do the tour today with Neville and ms. Sen having been in Vietnam for several weeks already, this gave us some great insight into the food and culture of this beautiful country and the amazing people . Neville runs a first rate tour and was prompt in pick up from out hotel, great to Hear... More

We really enjoyed this tour. Ms Sen was incredibly knowledgable and funny! (Her part of the tour was my favourite! :) ). Neville is also great and we loved listening to all his stories and learning about Vietnamese culture. The recommendations for restaurants, massages etc are really useful!

Enjoyed the food tour, but with 44 dishes on the menu, it's more about sampling than eating. Very well set up and although you will pay more than other tours going, if you are short on time it is well worth it.

Book ahead and make sure this is the first thing you do in Hoi An. It will ensure the rest of your time is spent wisely and you will know all the good food spots/places to buy other goods without getting ripped off. Its a bit oricey but will end up saving you money in the long run, trust me.... More

Just tried booking a tour but because of the holiday (Tet) the tours are temporarily closed. Nevertheless, Neville responded within minutes of my inquiry breaking the news that they couldn't provide service and then gave more than a dozen recommendations free of charge. Now that's stellar costumer service!!! So bummed we couldn't enjoy the actual food tour...

Neville and his team, including Ms Sen, we're extremely helpful and informative. The tour is good (you visit a market, a couple of restaurants and try over forty dishes) and it gets you out of your comfort zone when you first visit Hoi An. If you've been in Vietnam before and are happy to try the street food then you... More
