This is the main street that goes to the city. It is a very green and nice street because of the platans. There are shop and exchanges on this street.

Colonia is now one of my favorite places to go to. The calmed vibe you get there is so refreshing. The streets in the city are beautiful, full of trees. I recommend renting a bike.

The walk from the ferry through the oldest part of town ends up here where you will find restaurants and shops.

Situated within a walking distance from the ferry terminal, head here straight to get your Uruguayan pesos if you have just crossed the river from Buenos Aires. DO NOT change at the ferry terminal - the rate there was very bad! You can find afew Cambios along this main street which offer much better rate than the terminal.
Also, if you are looking for SIM cards, there is a CLARO along the street, which only needs your passport to get your local SIM cards.
There are also many restaurants here, but we didn't have any meals here.

Most "main streets" in towns are commercial, crowded and not picturesque at all. This street, as well as most of the nearby streets in and leading to the Old Town part of Colonia, are lined with beautiful, tall trees. The overall effect is quite scenic.

There were 2 leather stores we remember. The goods were made locally and many of them were one of a kind- I thought I could find similar items in Montevideo but I was sadly wrong. And they are better priced too.
We bought alfajores in supermarket on this street-it is cheaper there.

The tree-lined streets in Colonia are really pretty, especially with a mix of old and more modern buildings--they make for some great photo ops and just nice walking. This is the main drag in Colonia, and there are heaps of restaurants, shops, tiendas, etc. It's kind of hard to miss...

Depende muito do restaurante que pretende ir, mas geralmente entre 23:00 e 23:30. Mas depende um pouco do dia, pois alguns estendwm horario proximo aos fins de semana... Mas comer tarde nunca faz tao,bem...
