The interesting thing about Rio de la Plata is its dark dirty color and the big waves that make you feel like on a sea shore.

It is hard to believe that this is a river and not a lake, as it is so huge. Unfortunately it is an unappealing shade of brown. At time is actually looks like dark brown sand moving.

The giant river dividing Uruguay and Argentina and dumps into the ocean is impressive. Always a brown tint, it seems to be fairly clean

The water area around Sacramento is really nice place to relax and spend a few hours. Nice mini marina with great views of the Rio and Island.

The Rio de la Plata is a wide brown body of water without many outstanding features that make other great rivers such a joy to travel upon.

This was a great little spot because you are doing a lot of walking. Its great to have a seat and enjoy the view of the city. You can see The Faro (light house) & the Cultural Center (Bastion).

It's not beautiful, It's a peaceful river excursion. The sights are culturally interesting. Wide, wide unperturbed river resembling an enormous lake.
