If you are in Colonia del Sacramento you can not miss visiting this museum as it reflects part of the colonial history of the city, as well as the strong Portuguese roots of the place. At the entrance of the house you can see period furniture and a traditional waiting room. All its architecture is of the time, with wooden... More

This museum is part of the Colonia museum package and on its own is hardly worthy a few rooms with little interesting features, ok as part of the package

Nice little house, but there isn't much information given beyond what you can see. As such, this house doesn't give the visitor much more of an experience than visiting some of the neighbouring houses, restaurants and galleries which are in similar old buildings. Just ok for a quick look.

Museo Casa Nacarello (Nacarello's House Museum) is a tiny Portuguese house with original stone walls and floors from the 18th century. Antique artifacts and replicas of antique furniture decorate the house. A walk through Casa Nacarello provides an idea of how families lived and prepared their meals during the colonial days.

The museum is basically a small house. The problem is that it seems the transition from small house to museum was simply not done yet. It is perfectly fine to be small, but... How about some information? There's nothing but the objects of the old house. In my opinion, it loses quite a lot in it.

The museum is simply a preserved small house from the colonial era. Worth visiting if you're curios how people lived two centuries ago.
