    An immnese education!
I was thrilled that the museum was included in my Sharjah tour. There is so much wealth of knowledge that the time allot just not do justice, some magnificent calligraphy & rugs are included. Exhibits are displayed in rooms according to themes such as technology. A must in Sharjah or even Dubai.

Very interesting especially for those interested in medicine , history and or religion .
Particularly enjoyed the touch screen history of Islam . We all learned a lot . I have one teen who is bored by museums and even she enjoyed it . Make sure you go into the sone and look at the zodiac ceiling - it’s something special .

Excellent overview of Islamic inspired contributions to world progress
The museum is in a huge elongated building on the Sharjah waterfront. Plan enough time for your visit as there is a lot to see and experience. Three floors with exhibits and a dome to explore. Bringing together pieces of art, technology, architecture and even military equipment from different time periods having one theme in common: inspiration by Islamic religion. Personally I liked the science and technology section most. For the kids also interesting as it is partly interactive.

One of the best places in Sharjah. So much to learn.m and explore. I loved Ibn Al Haitham gallery. Loved all the Quran / illuminated manuscripts and all Islamic scientific inventions. I’d definitely come here again and spend more time there

If you want a full semester course at any of the best universities in the world in one day - that is the place. The most comprehensive museum we have seen regarding Islamic religion, art, science and technology. Not to be missed. Take your time, enjoy the amazing building and the super informative exhibition. It is worth it. Oh, and if you are over 60 entrance is free!

I personally found it to be very well organized, with exhibit rooms according to various themes. Most of the artefacts in display were from Persia, which further added to my interest, once I have been studying about it. The Museum itself is a piece of art.

Extensive collections of different areas (religion, achievements of science, culture, art), including the marvellous collection of Islamic coins. The museum staff was very attentive, ready to assist, in case required. Highly recommended place to visit.

An amazing well planned well built well arranged Museum. It will remind you that Islam did not only about Jihad..Isis and Hezbollah go there. While the world was in the dark days of middle age Islam brought to the world Mathematics..astronomy... medicine and philosophy. Under the wings of its rules prospered Jews that became major donors to progress. The museum was transformed from an ancient enclosed marker to its current use in a most iniative architecture group.
Do not miss it. Its tight on the Ajman creek so exit to the creek side at sunset and walk to the old shouks. A wonderful afternoon and evening lie ahead for you

This museum is well designed, entertaining, educational and full of wonders. There are plenty of interactive reproductions of ingenious engines that showcase advances in astronomy, medicine or water management. Also art pieces and models of architectural jewels as Granada’s Alhambra or the Cordoba Mosque with its Patio de Los Naranjos. Awesome way to learn about the worldwide influence of Islamic culture in creating art and spreading science and technology through the ages with explanations available online. I was lucky to see the perfectly curated exhibition “Wonder and Inspiration Venice and the Arts of Islam”
