It is not open for everyone. It is only for tourist, so you better have your passports with you if you want to get admitted. It is like paradise in the desert. It has hanging date trees. No one will say anything if you pick...More

The oasis is a great break from the shopping malls and tourist focused entertainment the UAE has become known for. It is a great spot for a walk in the shade. There are various spots to take a rest. We packed our own small snack...More

The largest of several oases scattered across the city, this one is located just south of the souk and adjacent to the National Museum. A great date plantation with more than150,000 trees, it is a green, tranquil labyrinth of narrow lanes. Our organized tour did...More

There isn't anything much to see, its basically a palm date plantation. Not worth the visit if you are thinking to drive all the way from Abu Dhabi. Its near the Al Ain zoo, you can plan to visit both within the same day.

The oasis takes you away from the noise of the traffic and it is shady, but that's it. Just a path taking you to areas outside of oasis such as the palace museum and fort. Nothing to see. Signposts are misleading.
