Beautiful scenery and amazing history. A must visit. I want to return in warmer months to visit. Friendly people and cool Cossacks.

I visit the resturant and museum. Museum much better to visit at the summer and not in the winter. Quite cool anyway but I can imagine a lot more activity in the summer. Resturant was very cozy and great food.

I enjoyed the visit. I have been there to visit a stable, and I was impressed by the place and people cordiality. A break from the gray Ukraine

In October 2016 we visited Hortitsa Island with my large family. We went down to the river, saw a campus of mountain climbers. Area was clean.

Well worth visiting this island and seeing their history. The woodwork done inside the church is incredible. Each building hold treasures from the past. Great view of the dam too.
