We shopped here a few times while visiting Marmaris, it's crazy in here, every shop you walk passed would try and get you to look in there shop, we bought a range of items here from gifts, jewellery, jumpers, shirts, t.shirts. It can be very tiring being hassled as much as you are, just remember all they are after is... More

Beware of HAKAN IN JACOB JEWELLERS IN GRAND BAZZAR IN MARMARIS My friend and I have both been totally ripped off by him this month. Sold me an Inferior diamond ring, refused a proper certification of ring and lied to me. Very disappointing as the ring cost me £11500 not cheap by any standards. My friend was sold a bracelet... This a top shop for buying ornamental lamps and waterpipe (shisha). The owner , Mustafa is very helpful and sincere. He also sells fresh Turkish delight which is amazing. Well recommend a visit. If you enter from entrance no. 57 opp. Ataturk statue, the shop is 50 yards on right.

Well... if you like getting hassled, asked questions, hands getting grabbed! Your partner getting looked up and down every second then go have a great day out! Always feel like your on a losing side of a battle, as you don't know what is a reasonable price to pay for items as they don't have fixed prices! Sure I'm up... More

We paid several trips to the Grand Bazzar during our 18 days stay! And as always we got some brilliant bargains.. Shoes, bags, watches, sunglasses, headphones, clothes, gifts etc... Unfortunately we only had 20kg luggage allowance each! 😩 We found that we got less hassle generally this year, I think the shop workers have begun to realise that shoppers do... More

This is the place to haggle to your hearts content! I go here twice a year for my holiday shopping. I call it the black hole because from the outside it literally looks like a black hole . From the big black hole , on left hand side there is the first entrance go through that one and follow along... More

We went before the season really started , so pretty quiet. Went in lots of shops as I was determined to haggle for the best prices on t-shirts, hoodies etc. And wanted to know how much I 'should be paying'. A fair deal is 5 quid for a tshirt if you want one or two. But I also bought ten... More

I love this place but because all the shops look similar its easy to get lost, also the best way to find a bargain. There is a lovely little shop that sells purses for £2/3 and bags £5+.

its one of the oldest markets in turkey where you can get traditional artefacts and a good deal for the money. but you need to bargain a lot. you can also buy clothes and lots of other gift items as souvenirs. overall a great outing.
