    Nice bazaar
The Grand Bazaar in Marmaris is a nice Bazaar with plenty of different products on offer. Bartering is the key so be careful as you could get conned out of your money. Shopkeepers know you're holidaymakers, especially Brits, from miles away! On the other hand there's shops with prices marked which provide really good value.

    A must see in Marmaris
Great spot to buy anything and everything. Sellers will try their best to drag you in to their shop and promise you that they have the biggest selection, best quality, best price…. Prepare to haggle….never pay the price they first quote! The place is huge and well worth a visit although you’ll find that most shops have the same items so don’t buy straight away until you’ve checked all the prices and what deals they will offer you. A must see when visiting Marmaris

Some decent buys to be had.
As soon as you walk into the Bazzar you are pestered relentlessly ,however it appears that many shop owners now to leave you alone to browse once in the shop, but you do get bothered but not the very hard sell,or you didn't in my case...simply so no thanks and walk off. Plenty of good buys at a decent quality ,but of course all none genuine. Barter hard and you can get some very good deals...if your spending for example £30 ,there is no reason you couldn't almost half that price....Worth a look around ,as its quite big with plenty of shops selling every none genuine item you can think of.

No hassle and a break from the heat.
Read reviews that describe the shop keepers as rude and aggressive, we did not find this to be the case. A lot said ' Come in , look around, no hassle' So maybe they are realising that Brits like to browse not be pressurised to buy. We brought trainers, but i think prices same as in the shops. You just have to barter and walk away if price isn't right as they are other shops that will sell cheaper.

A maze of shops for all your holiday bargain hunting.
The Grand Bazaar in Marmaris is more modern than the one in Istanbul but less charming, it is like a small labyrinth with different colours on the inside roof to ensure you don't walk down the same section twice or get lost. There are lots and lots of shops and stalls selling everything from genuine fake designer goods, bags, shoes, tee shirts, jewelry, local sweets, spices, cosmetics, souvenirs, leather or fur coats, and probably anything else you can imagine. You must bargain for what you want and never pay the first asked price, if you don't like the price, just walk away, most Turkish people are very friendly, but be respectful. We found a local kebab shop in the Grand Bazaar to have a quick snack and soft drink at while giving our feet a rest. TIP: Make sure that you wear comfortable walking shoes and Hat. Bazaar was great Buzz at night!
Went during the day and melted it was way too hot! So came back another day at night and it was buzzing and so nice and cool. Ppl are friendly but do force your custom. Just politely walk away and they are ok. Things are fake and some are not that cheap so be careful. We found the supermarket closer to our hotel cheaper for most bags purses etc than the bazaars. I hitch was shocking but good experience. Go at night when it’s cooler. Just was really too hot in the day.

    Great Experience.
Took the dolmas to the bazaar. Went early evening to avoid crowds and shop when it was slightly cooler. Everyone we met was polite and respectful and you’re not hassled at all. All you need to say is No thank you and you are left to continue looking around. Bazaar has everything designer you could think of obviously all fakes, some are very good while others are not. Take your time when inspecting and do not be afraid to haggle. Great experience.

Once and done experience. Not worth the time
It is one of those places you think about when you talk about Istanbul but the place is a huge disappointment. It has tons of overpriced shops and everyone sell pretty much the same or similar things. Almost everyone smokes in there so it’s a second-hand smoke hell. For non-smokers, it’s best to just avoid it. Take a picture from the outside and be done with it. To shop and eat, take a ferry to Karikoy instead and you can thank me later. That is where locals shop and eat and they have all the souvenirs you want to buy there. Or head to Taksim square but stay away from Grand Bazaar and its surrounding

Fantastic, everyone needs to go at least once in a lifetime.
Lots of great things going on
The products of good quality, no hassle from the seller
Which was very unusual, I bought bags and wallets, the vendor helped me to choose the best ones, making sure the zipper was working correctly

Started off by visiting the mens WC just outside the main entrance, the floor was covered in urine and the place stunk, saw many men do their business and walkout without washing hands, saw one of these guys shortly after in a Turkish Delight store handling food. Going into the Bazaar was just horrible, crowded for sure but it was filthy and stunk, shop keepers every where standing outside their stores and smoking, blowing their toxic fumes into passers by faces, they constantly approach you, holding cigarettes and covering you with smoke, filthy inconsiderate, ignorant human beings. Saw many people just picking samples of food, all uncovered with people coughing, sneezing and smoking near by, cannot see how any of this would meet health and safety requirements in any legitimate country. Cigarette butts litter the floor everywhere. Overall a major disappointment as we had planned to spend much more time there. Would not recommend anyone go there, the place needs shutting down and a major clean up needed, yes it is meant to have a vibe and atmosphere, but it shouldnt be a major health hazard.

Might be full of shops but it’s nothing special, we did get asked by almost shop to go on but that’s just what they do to get customers, some good deals to be had but it’s grubby, dirty and my advice is wear insect repellent!! Didn’t get bitten all holiday and went there for 1 morning and came out with a nasty bite on my leg, in all honesty I wouldn’t go again unless it was necessary to my trip, I wasn’t impressed.

What can you say about this place.
If you can't find it here then there's no hope.
The place to go for your holiday trinkets.
Just wall to wall shops.

Great for bargains and a good haggle
Personally I didn't like all the shop owners crowding you so go in their shops. I preferred to go in to Iscmeler for shopping, same distance from where we stayed with similar shops and prices with far less pestering
