It is the best place for shopping. There are various malls and streets for that. At the same time you can find many good restaurants and cafes which serve tasty food and various drinks.
All people are very kind, they do their best to help people and smile all the time. Highly recommended!

I visited Karsiyaka central area more than 200 times during the last 3 years. It is a quiet area and it is not expensive. There is also a Karsiyaka IZBAN station which connects you all the way to Aliaga area.

The sea, shops of every kind and hospitable people make the place a popular touristic attraction. We have experienced the famous Boyoz and a cup of ice cream and liked them a lot.

Less fancy than Alsancak, this area is filled with amazing cheese and olive shops, pastry places and fish restaurants. Very busy district and very cool! I especially recommend Alesta, an amazing fish restaurant by in between the fresh fish shops by the mosque with the lights.

Karshiyaka Street is famous for its shops, cafes, and restaurants. An ordinary shopping street. You can find many mass market companies. We walked in the evening, there were a lot of people and very dirty. There are many hotels on this street, but I wouldn't stay there. There is an embankment nearby, from where you can get to Aslancik by Vapur
