GATES OF HERCULES

We had to pass the Gates of Hercules to get to t Celsus Library and Theatre, as they are part of the ruins that you see while in Ephesus,visited a while back.

I was expecting something more of it as i heard history of Hercules gates.But it is not real place it is reconstructed Gate of Hercules

Don not really understand why this should be a place to rate on its own. It is one of the gates you will pass walking down or up through Ephesus. It is the place that separated the government from the public in the ancient city of Ephesus. Two nice and not very large statues on both sides of the paved... More
