Whilst many travellers seem to be content with viewing the delights of the pools at Pamukkale - we think they are missing out. It really is worth taking the time and trouble to hike that little bit extra to take in the Ancient City of Hierapolis.

I went to see Hierapolis & Pamukkale back in July this year and I have to say it's has to be one of the most amazing sightsto see in Turkey. I went on a four hour coach trip to see this sight and had to get up at about 5:30 in the morning as it was a long journey. But... More

Pamukkale, or as the greek called it, Hierapolis, is an amazing place to visit. The accumulation of calcium over milleniums from hot springs forming a white cascade over hillfront presents an ethereal sight. It is also an ancient city which are accessible for tourista.

We were at Pamukkale last Oct. 28, 2016 for a one day tour only. The place is amazing, we enjoy the climb and walk in the travertines, they look like mountain tables of snow or salt. It has pool of warm water where you can bathed. On top, the view is breath taking and there are more attractions here, ranging... More

The paths are clear to the areas you want to see but wear comfortable shoes also it is chilly in morning and late afternoon in Oct. The ruins are in excellent condition and Hierapolis... More

Hierapolis by its size and detail is amazing. From the west to east gates and back via the stadium and baths there is so much to see. And the there are still the travertine terraces. Unfortunately it was a dry summer and there was very little water, meaning that the full face could not be watered and only small part... More

This World Heritage Site is a very popular attraction for both locals and tourists. The ancient city ruins of Hierapolis (meaning “sacred city”), extends over quite a large area with many ruins and sites to visit. Follow the length of the path form the south Roman gate, to the northern necropolis which runs parallel and is adjacent to the white... More
