it is ideal to visit early hours of the day because it gets warmer later. you go in and out of the caves to cool. lots of ancient cave to see and know how people lived.

Right from the moment you step in, this place amazes you. It's mind blowing to even imagine how the caves were built, how people lived there, and how wonderfully smart they were back then, especially given the little resources they must've had then!

The museum is natural caves carved into monastery and churches by the Greek centuries ago. It is a breathtaking and amazing view really majestic, you can still see painting of the churches on the walls. Really Beautiful!!

Very special place for religious people and those interested to learn more about the history. Part if the Red Tour. Went there with the great guide. Audioguides are also available. No photos inside of caves allowed

How the caves in such large scale are carved with ancient crude instruments is unbelievable. it has got a church/shopping place,education centre just like the modern community centre.

Fantastic and amazing place and one of the best attractions in Cappadocia. Historical church with the interesting painting inside. We have good time there. you must be ready to walk through the many caves to view different things.

No, not in the centre of town but a pleasant walk of about 10 minutes. Wonderful place to walk around and worth paying a little extra to see the Dark Church. A very beautiful place and do not miss it
