On fuel you get there from Bursa and when you spend it, unfortunately, you go and pay for mandatory parking there. This is the most unnecessary place I've been 7 miles in 14 days. People who live in a particular village here have opened up cafe-style venues for themselves and might want to go for something like breakfast or afternoon workout, but it’s a shame for your money and time.

Located few kilometres from Bursa city center, a preferred way to go there is by car, but there are bus also reached the place. The car park located nearby the village square, where there also have few ATMs for money withdrawal. The topography is a bit hilly, so advisable to use proper shoes when visiting there. Shops there sold many types of items from clothing, foods, souvenirs.

You can't see the historical houses, there are stalls everywhere. It has become a commercial bazaar that has lost its texture. Breakfast places are very expensive, they are not even subject to tax, there is not even a POS device to cut receipts, but each bill adds 1000 TL to your account. It is not among my recommendations.

It is a nice and historic place but you need to use your imagination a lot to picture it without every single place trying to sell you tourist trinkets. I am not at all criticising the people who live here for doing so, as it is a way of making a living and it must work. But be warned before going that this is what you will experience among the historic buildings.

Great place and opportunity to see a typical old Turkish village. It gets crowded by groups and schools in mid-day but be there early and you will enjoy the whole place for yourself. A little commercial in parts but still a great place to visit if you are in Bursa. Don't miss it.

It's a must-visit place, the prices are affordable, but if you want to go there, I recommend it during the weekdays. There are a lot of people coming on tours on the weekends, so no steps are taken. People are everywhere everywhere, so you can take beautiful pictures on weekdays.

As a Scholarship recipient, definitely don’t go here.
Why?
Because the breakfast is really, but genuinely, a treat.
No products were made and received with care.
Why shouldn’t it be,chambard people are coming, what if they don’t come again!
So can’t you break two eggs right, buddy, is that hard?
Don’t think like this;’and you’ve gone somewhere, you haven’t left me, you’re eating the whole village. No, you don’t,
I share my experience from previous years and this year.
This year we went 45 min (look, I don’t overdo it) waiting for breakfast, and the breakfast that came was painful. We got up and we walked in somewhere in front of him, hit someone.
There are very good breakfast facilities all over Bursan and Turkey. They don’t accept people for that cheap, let’s know.No money, no way to walk, as far as a bucket. No matter what you know from here, let’s have more regrets.

It has become a complete commercial establishment. Prices are very exaggerated. Traffic is a different problem for coming and going. We sat somewhere and ordered breakfast, and after exactly 40 minutes, we were confronted with a question: "What did you order?" It was incredibly bad. Our village is 10 feet away from there.

A village founded in the 1300s. It has taken its place on the UNESCO World Heritage list. It has a magnificent historical texture. It survived in its original form. Unspoilt. It has a history of 700 years. Time has stopped. Its colorful houses, flowers and narrow streets give people peace. It is very close to Bursa. This place is definitely a must see.

Very fantastic old county of Bursa. You can smell the history of Ottoman in the narrow streets of Cumalıkızık by walking around old wooden houses. You can buy traditional organic foods from local people.Jams are most popular and made by local women.Having breakfast in one of those old houses gardens is worthy. There are also few cafe houses (called çay bahçesi) which you can have good black tea or turkish cafe.If you want to buy souveniers for your friends there are also some souvenier shops which you can buy several things.

how does one get from bursa centre to the village using public transport? I know that the nearest metro station is otosansit. From there, the walk is pretty long to get to the village. Is there other transport from Otosansit metro station?

Tripadvisor guidelines prevent me from supplying a URL in my reply to your question. However, I entered "bus bursa to Cumalikizik" in my web browser, and was directed to a website which looked something like "moovitapp" which indicated there were 3 bus lines (1/K, 2/G and 91) plus the Metro# 2 which ran along main highway D200. From the intersection of Cumalikizik Cd and D200, it is about 2km walk to Cumalikizik village following Cumalikizik Cd,. (it will be uphill most of the way). Alternatively, you might be able to find a taxi at the intersection of Cumalikizik Cd and D200 to take you to the village. Alternatively, a taxi from Bursa center is about 13 km, ~11 minutes, and might cost 8-10 USD. Good luck, and safe travels.

Do restaurants in Cumalikizik serve their traditional breakfast all day?
Written 18 June 2019
When we were there at lunchtime in May, everything was closed. It was Ramadan, so it may be because of this.
But in the summer everyone says it is very crowded and they should serve breakfast ( or at least gozleme which is kind of a Turkish pizza) all day.

Где в Бурсе располагается остановка маршруток, на которых можно доехать в Джумалыкызык?

Probably the cheapest and easiest way for a solo traveler without a car is to get by bus to "Istanbul Otogari" located near the old city in Fatih area (every 5 minutes), and from there take inter-city bus to bursa (every 3 hours). Times I got from rome2rio website. I am not sure of frequency during late nights.
If you are driving, you can drive from Ataturk to Asian Istanbul via the new underwater crossing (accessible from Kennedy cadisi), continue to reach "Osman Gazi Bridge" then cross over to Yalova, and then continue to Bursa. This is the fastest way I can think of.
If you are driving, you can go to Yenikapi Ferry station just east of Old City on Kennedy Cadisi, and take a fast ferry to Mudainya near Bursa (car can be taken with you), and then drive to Bursa. From Ataturk to Yenikapi it will take about 30 to 1 hour depending on traffic. There are three trips daily, morning around 10:30, afternoon 2:30, and evening 7:00 (check schedules at ido web site). Fast ferry will take about 2 hours. From Mudayna to Bursa is about 45 to 1 hour depending on traffic and exact location in Bursa.
You can also go from Yenikapi to Yalova, and then drive to Bursa. Check ido for schedule.
If schedules work for you, you can take taxi to Yenikapi, then go as pedestrian in fast ferry, and then taxi from Mudanya to Bursa.
I have not used the bus route, so I can not comment on that. I have used the fast ferry several times, and it is a wonderful trip -- if it fits in your schedule do not miss it.

I was staying in Otel Sukran which was nearby a metro station.
This is what I did. I walked to the nearest metro to the Otel, took the Kestel Line at Dermirtaspasa Istasyonu stopped at Cumalikizik/Degirmenonu station. Took a mini bus to the Cumalikizik village. The mini bus fare was about TL2-3 and the Metro fare was about TL 2.40 I think - you can use the the Istanbulkart on the metro but pay cash to the mini bus driver. Don't be afraid to ask - people help - I used google translate alot there.
I returned to the Otel the same way.

Hi, I will be in Bursa for 2 days in May, and want to visit Uludag Teleferik and Cumalikizik. I will be arriving by the overnight bus from Denizli.
I would like to find out if there is a place to stay in Cumalikizik - I read so much about the breakfast that I really want to experience.
Also is it more logical to rent a car and visit the nearby attraction or to take the public transportation?
I appreciate any suggestion

Okay dear,
Ill tell you what i did i stayed in osmagazi in the center of Bursa and from there you can take a bus to Uludag Telefrik and the ottoman village Cumalikizik. Now i would advise not to rent because public transports in turkey are easier just write the name of the place on google maps and check out the bus numbers you need to hop on. I honestly took a taxi to cumalikzik “costs 15-18$”from osmangazi early in the morning and went back to osmangazi bu bus from there. As for Uludag took a bus about 10-15 minutes. Its not worth renting a car for 2 days and really the public transportation is easy in turkey just use google maps or moovit app. Hope i helped you.
I wish i have paid attention for hotels in cumalikzik but didnt come to mind.
Have a great trip
