You can get a climpse on Bursa's history (and culture) at this place, Ottoman newspapers and local singers included. Unfortunately it's all in Turkish, but for only 2 Liras - give it a try.

Lots of things to learn about the history of Bursa. A little amateur somehow, but still worth a visit to feel the ambience of the recent past.

This is an interesting museum with several cleverly designed exhibits about Bursa's history. An excellent textile collection upstairs.

Was pleasantly surprised on the well displayed items in the Museum. Very well organized and easy to get through. Small cafe inside to relax at the end of the visit. Could use some English descriptions on the plaques.

A typical Turkish museum with an extensive and interesting collection of artifacts. The ethnographic section is of particular interest

Unfortunately there's very little regarding Bursa's glorious ancient past, but once you get past that, the museum is very good, especially the shop recreations on the lower floor, and Zeki Murren's flamboyant jackets. More information in English would be great, but it's very cheap and makes a great stroll anyway.

Nice one. Every time you go, you can find different exhibitions about the city. You can also learn about the history of the city from ancient to modern times.

This is an excellent Museum and you need time to go to each floor and examine every part. I assure you will come out well informed about the heritage and culture of Bursa. You will learn so much about the rituals and way of life in the ancient times. However you need a good guide to explain about this magnificent... More
