Warning , this is the first place you will see when you get a taxi or bus to ladies beach , my cousin is visiting me as I have a holiday home here , I know there is tourist prices and Turkish residents prices , that’s fine as they have low wage , I asked how much 150 lira (15) pound each I asked do we get a drink with that No ok do you have clean showers toilets All clean he said and cameras . Ok I paid , got the sunbed it was broken , my cousin fell off her , they changed them . We decided to get food , later on it arrived chips still half frozen toasted sandwich horrible we left it , Had two Effes lagers , It now afternoon then the boom boom boom music started , I love music but background I’m at beach I want to listen to the waves and relax , if it had been full of young people fine that’s what they like in a evening , we decided to go asked for bill , and asked where the shower was An open drain smelling bad , no door on shower , change room full of ants It was disgusting, we did not use, toilet was bad couldn’t see in the mirror it was so dirty . Bill came 300 lira I said I pay for lager not food , oh nasty face , not the boy who worked on beach fault he was helpful in his job Shame he got bad Boss to work for , WE WONT BE BACK , THIS WAS ON FRI 10th June 2022 went passed today Oh come in , I said we where there on Fri , and said all of the above Oh we were not open then properly ( why charge those prices ) come we give you half price free cocktails Beds falling apart etc Don’t be fooled

Ladies Beach is nothing special.
I cannot recommend it, because it is dirty, atmosphere is so-so ...
Restaurants are over-priced and food quality is very low - actually the lowest we had in Turkey.
Especially, because there are good alternatives: Green Beach or others ...

As the title states, I was on my way to a weekly restaurant meet that we have between friends.
The area was deserted. Did not see anyone. The whole area is work in progress, both on the promenade and on the beach. A long row of piles of sand could be seen on the beach, may have been due to a cleaning exercise.
The promenade itself resembles a building site. All the surface has been removed and aggregate is being laid. It's supposed to be finished before the season starts. But may not have a season this year.
Hoping for bigger and better developments later in the year, hopefully.

Absolutely hated the place.
Unlike its name, "ladies beach" was not a ladies' beach. But that's not the problem here. The beach was crowded with people and the hire of deckchairs and parasols was too pricey (we paid 800 TL for 2). Not to mention how dirty the beach was (algae and rubbish) and how loud they played the music.
Far from what we expected.
Honestly, if you're expecting a haven of relaxation, don't waste your time (nor money) to go there.

We went in August and the beach is far too crowded for it to be a pleasurable experience. We arrived about lunch time but couldn't find a spot on the beach. Yes, it was that packed. We settled for lunch in Dubliners restaurant which was lovely and a look around the few shops (mostly restaurants here) and then a walk along the beach back to the Dolmus No 5 back to the town. We did go back in the evening a couple of times and walked the beach at night time. Lovely atmosphere. People just chilling, playing guitars. Felt very safe. They weren't drinking alcohol. Definately worth a trip in the evenings

The Turkish Name Kadınlar Denizi (Women’s Sea) Comes From The Hictorical Usage Of The Beach During The Ottoman Period, When Only Women Were Allowed To Swim There. Today , Men And Women Are Not Separated Since Turkey Has a Strong Sense Of Secularism.

Lovely beach. However, prepare yourself to be sold to at every restaurant and bar along the front.
We visited towards the end of the season and found the sales a bit too much - it put us off a bit. There is also a strong sewage type smell at several points along the walk way near the restaurants which put me off wanting to eat at some places.
However we did use a jet ski on this beach and the water was lovely. I can see why it's so popular

Came to ladies beach with my 2 young boys today. I asked for 2 beds and the guy charged me 1600tl. I thought it was very expensive but at the time didn’t think too much about it.
After paying that ridiculous amount of money I sat down and thought as a family of 7 we went to star beach and paid 1200tl for 6 beds, I knew I was ripped off!!
I went and asked for my money back and told the guy that he was ripping everyone off with these ridiculous prices just for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella.
He aggressively gave me my money back and then proceeded to tell me because I got 2 sunbeds at the front that’s why it’s that price and if I sat at the back it would of been 375tl. Still a lot of money. I ended up arguing with him as I told him a sunbed is a sunbed whether it’s at the back or front that should not reflect on the price and that it’s disgusting what he is doing as he is ripping people off.
I then told another family to be careful as it is a rip off, he then said don’t worry about her she’s not normal and I told him he wasn’t normal for ripping off the public and called me a gerisekalı, so I obviously reacted and called him one back amongst other words he then told me to leave which I was going to anyway as I made him give me my money back.
I am a Turkish Cypriot and even speaking the language I get ripped off let alone someone who isn’t.
The restaurants are all lovely there, and you have an amazing view of the sunset, however, I will Never return to use the beach again.

Filthy and crowded.
Rubbish strewn all over the sand. I am sure there are lovely beaches but unless you hire a car they are difficult to access. The seafront is run down and if you walk along it you will be overwhelmed by traders and cafe owners.

Nice beach, always busy, even with social distancing.
Sunbeds available at 20lira each but no mattress.
Long narrow beach. Private beach club at one end, 50lira bed and mattress, drinks pricey.
Private club the other end at marti beach hotel, 50lira, lovely choice of beds, mattress, seating. Nice drinks.
Ladies beach ok for a day

You get the number 6 dolma and it cost about 3 lira each and while your there go to Sundays bar nice food and drink and cheap enjoy
