You may see where were the pirates hiding :) so they would not be caught and heard some bats in there. It is not allowed to swim around there as well.

Surrounded by antiquity we sailed through sylvan seas and sought the sunken city of Lycia. The Romans were here in the time of Caesar when Brutus came in search of soldiers to press into service for his legion. Those were dark days, and long ago. Our visit was more benign. We came only to view the remains of the stone... More

Took a boat trip from Kekova, lovely views, good swimming chances, food was lovely, all at a great price. Good stops for shopping for souvenirs and to visit tombs and castle. Plus see the underwater ruins.

We called into Kekova Sound whilst enjoying a boat trip from Kas. Viewing the historic ruins of Turkey's Lycian, Byzantine & Roman past was most informative & enjoyable particularly in the beautiful surroundings that Jason & the Argonauts might also have visited.

Kekova boat trip is a must, good value with a tasty lunch included. Beautiful views the sunken city is a sight to behold the boat stops at least 4 times for swimming in the sea. Views from the island of Simena and the Turkish ice cream. Would highly recommend

Turkey has many spectacular places but kekova is definitely amongst the best. Stay at kaş and take the daily boat from üçağız köyü. (40- 30 min ride by shuttle or car) These boats can be booked in advance, cost around 70 tl including lunch. They take you to all bays plus simena sunken ruins and kaleköy. We chose the largest... The highlight of any trip to Kalkan or Kas. You have to take a boat out to the islands for a spot of snorkelling.
