This is a wonderful way to get an overview of the 1000 Islands on the bridge to and from U.S/Canada. This has an especially nice view on a sunny and clear day (if it is cloudy and you are going for the views, pick another...More

I drive over from Montreal and the view at night was beautiful as well. The bridge is well maintained. I will definitely come back during the day to check it out again

this bridge is well maintained, it does have a toll, however, if you travel this bridge often you can get a card. On the Canadian Side is Hill, Island with some tourist stores and the Hill Island Tower that is great to see the islands,...More

The views from the bridge are fabulous. We did not realize that you can walk out on the bridge until we were leaving. If you are not afraid of heights, I'm sure you can get great pictures.

Wow, that's a tall bridge. I had to pull over and let my husband drive over it! Didn't realize there was a walking section. Next time I would like to walk it. During our 1000 Islands Boat Tour we learned there are 5 spans of...More

Lovely bridge nice view and costs $3.75 Canadian to cross. When you cross stop in and check out the 1000 Islands Tower. Get a 360 view at over 400 metres on three observation decks. Gift shop on site too!

Great view of the river while traveling over to Canada. If I were brave enough I would have walked up to the center of the walk way and stood and took pictures, but I am afraid of heights. Would be a great place to take...More

The bridge is well over 50 years old, the plan was to charge a crossing fee until it was paid for, about 500 million ago. A nice view of the area, along with the only way to Wellesly Island from the US

Other than being a series of 4 bridge spans taking one from NY to Canada over Wellesley Island, I'n not sure what the big attraction is. There is a $2.75 one way toll from NY over the first (and tallest) span into the island. The...More

Personally, I don't think the bridge is worth a $70 cab ride.
