At the most southerly tip of Phuket, the Cape offers stunning views of the sea and close but islands. The drive is well worth paying a driver if needed. The area is breathtakingly beautiful. A visit there is time well spent, with other attractions such as the Big Buddha and Botanical Gardens not too far away. Well worth seeing!

take a massage and then leave to the cape to enjoy the sunset. though you find lot of travellers it has it has it's own charm and serenity. you see a small temple surrounded by around 1000 elephant sculptures(like an offering to the temple).

There are many places on Phuket to view good sunset. This is one of them, Good if you have rent car or motorbike. But the best way - second time - some restaurants near Karon Viewpoint

We came here twice; once during the day to look at the view from the paved lookout area (and entice us to explore down near Yanui Beach in the process!), and another time to watch the sunset from the headland. Both times there were busloads and busloads of tourists at the lookout. However, if you bring some walking shoes (manageable... More

this cape located around 20 minute drive from pathong beach area. but be aware of the traficc when you came to this area for sun set. there are many group tour coach heading to phromthep cape. so the ambience will be a little crowded.

Of the many many spots in Phuket with a vantage view of the wonder of Mother Nature, this tops my list. A place to appreciate and contemplate the beauty of Nature. We went there during the middle of the day and it was bright and sunny with an invigorating breeze. For the romantics who desire the snapshot that will be... More

Phromthemp cape is a southernmost point of Phuket where the sun will set last in Thailand. Sunset is beautiful there. Yet it is very crowded. It is almost impossible to take a photo without people stand behind you. The cape itself is nice, but not a wow. Free parking available, but may be full during sunset time.

This is a well known place for seeing the sunset so it can be quite busy, there was a mix of locals with families and tourists there. The sunset was stunning and despite the crowd, it was quite serene. If you're around the area, I would recommend seeing the sunset here.

The first time i got to I have a very tight one. If you come to Phuket, you do not go, you missed a lot to Phuket, not to Promthep Cape. Show that you still do not come to Phuket.

It is a nice place to see a sunset in phuket. You need to come 30-40 mins before it to book a good position to take a photo as there are heap of tourists come to this spot also. If you don't mind to see a sunset in last minute at the end of day, you should move out before... More
