Must visit location in phuket. There is 2 view points: 1. Windmill view point 2. Phromthep cape. Took around 45 from downtown.

At the most southern phuket point. Very romantic place, worth a visit expecially for couples, one of the best sunset in Phuket island.

Very touristy but views are great! There was lots of people, gets crowdy at sunsets. You can use transport or hike from Rawai.

Visited this place one of nights of our holiday as our hotel offered free drop off and pick up. The views are beautiful but it is over run by visitors ( very commercial)

phromthep cape is perfect for watching the sunset - just make sure to get there a little earlier to get the best spot or head down to the restaurant at the bottom of the hill.. delicious Thai food and a great view !

The platform area can be extremely crowded especially during sunset time. Suggest you to arrive a little bit earlier before the sunset, do a little hike towards the down hill cliff. Less crowded asides, it has the best sunset view spot of whole cape.

The Promthep cape was quite far from Patong but was easy to find by car and easy to park. The view was beautiful.

We just came back from there. We rented a scooter and drove there. The roads are good. Just use the GPS on your cell phone and you should be fine. Well worth the trip. If you go for the sunset it is a trade off as there... More
