Took the bike to the beach, walkable for sure though. Had to pay thb100 each but worth it. Had some cool monkeys and the view spectacular.... The water was lovely but did churn up with boats, settled after 2 mins. Lots of easy snorkeling and the tree lined beach was simply as paradise as any picture you see used. Softest... More

We decided to walk to Freedom Beach from Patong (not from Patong Beach but from our hotel Ashlee Heights). There are two walking routes one from Patong Beach and the other route is a lot more risky and dangerous. We took the risky route to the beach and then the Patong beach route on the way back. Risky Route Unless... More

The stand is nice, but many tourists visit there. The Potang Beach gives as many skijet and also parasailing.

We walked to Freedom Beach and it was well worth the walk. We liked how it was close enough for us to walk to from Patong, but not as busy as the main beach. The only disapoinment is the price of the snorkling gear hire, particularly the deposit. The deposit itself was more than purchasing a snorkle set. Unfortunately we... More

Wow wow wow. Despite having to pay an entry fee to gain access to the beach (think 200 Baht per person) it was well worth it. Soft sand. Warm waters. Quite. Blue and clear waters. One of the best beaches visited to date.

The most stunning beach we have seen on Phuket! Quiet, white sand and crystal clear water. We took the long tail boat from Patong Beach at 1500 Baht for 2, but it was worth it! You can rent umbrellas and there is a very small restaurant, but we took our own beer with. Definitely worth a visit!
