- Abraham BPretoria, South Africa142 contributions@Marlin Market PhuketGreat for an evening outing. Under roof flea market and food market all in one. Choose your fresh food and have it prepared on the spot. Sit down at the pub area and they will bring the food to you. The grilled whole fish is a winner. We went back for it again and again.Visited February 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 12 January 2024
- CheekyKBNewcastle, United Kingdom288 contributionsGreat market for foodThis market was amazing to sample Thai food. It was very reasonably priced and had lots of food choices. I got great juices for approx. 50bhat. Vegetable spring rolls for 100bhat. Jacket potatoes for 100bhat. If I wanted anything more then it was usually around 150 bhat for egg fried rice and shrimp or noodles. You could literally buy any food from the market. It was a great place to eat and people watch.Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 25 January 2024
- Pull The Trigger 📸Bali, Indonesia17 contributionsTop notch food hustleUnbelievable place with pretty much anything you could wish for. Foods fresh and cooked in front of you. Has a nice vibe to it and again there is literally something for everyone. An absolute must for any visitor to Phuket!Visited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten 17 March 2024
- Julian ClarkAndover, United Kingdom47 contributionsDelightful Thai ExperienceSo during our 8 nights of being in Patong we visited this place 5 times for street food/shopping or to just have a drink and take in the atmosphere. The sights, smells, hustle and bustle was just great, food cooked in front of you, lots of choice at good prices. We had a fantastic time there and really recommend it to everyone to visit at least once. If you do then ensure you visit Nicky’s Bar in the middle for your drinks including cocktails 🥳🥳Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 6 April 2024
- EdensmumAustralian Capital Territory, Australia312 contributionsA MUST visit while in Patong!Awesome food and shopping market. Everything so fresh. Enjoyed dinner (more of a feast) at Namo Bar authentic Thai food and they make it spicey for you if you ask. Plenty of fresh seafood. The staff are fantastic, very attentive and grateful for your custom and 100 TBT cocktails. We had a feast for $42 AUD between the 4 of us. There are plenty of market restaurants and shopping for bargains under the one roof, a one stop shop. Super easy to get to in a Tuk Tuk. This place is definitely worthwhile a visit for dinner several times during your stay, it will draw you back.Visited July 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 31 July 2024
- rajeshp352Whangarei, New Zealand55 contributionsYummy tasty foodLove this market. Great Thai food- especially fresh seafood. Much cheaper then the restaurants. Cold refreshing drinks, including coconut. Lots of seating. Not air conditioned, so a bit hot. Staff friendly and happy to help, not pushy at all. Definitely will come back when in Patong. You should come here for dinner!Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 23 August 2024
- MrsSiewSingapore, Singapore522 contributionsN3 Seafood, highly recommendedMany stalls comprising of seafood and fruit stalls, ordered and go barbecue stall, bar counters with TV screen, billard / pool tables , numerous garments and souvenir shops, fish spa. It's sheltered and also open area. From where we had our dinner, seem like they were extending more shops and stalls in the near future. ❤️Must try seafood restaurant at N3 Seafood, reasonable price no hard sell. Personally I preferred Malin Plaza to Banzaan. Because prices were clearly displayed. I ordered, sat and got served. ❤️ While in Banzaan, at ground floor (where all the seafood and fruits stallI were) pointed out to what I want, negotiated with exorbitant prices and paid cash. Next go to upper floor again negotiated prices with the cooking styles. Queue up and pay at designated counter. Bring the card payment to the cooking stall then they would cook my seafood. Same went to drink counter. After that, they waved at you to collect your food. So you had to seat near and not too far. My humble opinion.Visited September 2024Travelled with familyWritten 9 September 2024

For seasoned night market enthusiasts like myself, it becomes evident which ones cater mainly to tourists, and this is certainly one of them. While the food prices lean towards the higher end, the quality tends to be just average. Some vendors can be a bit persistent, presenting their menus as you stroll by. Interestingly, the pricing is on par with the shopping malls, yet with fewer quality options. Expect to spend around $140-$200 baht for a plate and $40 baht for a meat skewer, which surprisingly surpasses mall rates in some instances.
I'd recommend seeking out a more authentic local night market experience (although I’m not sure that exists in Patong) or considering the diverse food choices at the Patong malls.

Wide variety of food vendors at very reasonable prices. There are also a good number of shops but a great deal of redundancy. If you see something you like, don’t be afraid to haggle as there will be ten other shops that have the same thing...you can make a deal!

Thought this market would have been bigger than others in the area because it was talked up a lot however I was underwhelmed when I arrived. Looks like the street food selection is average for what is available in Thailand and the stalls just still have the same things that everywhere else does. I wouldnr bother going if you are aren't staying close by because the markets closer to Bangla road have the same stuff

The Malin Plaza was quite near to our hotel and we would daily pass by this area. There are lot of nice food options available here. Also, lot of shops are there where you can do some shopping at good prices. The market is open from day till late night or so, hence we did a lot of shopping and eating from this place.

The seafood here was the freshest and gave the most value for money. We had a whole fish, scallops, mussels, squid and shrimp for 700 baht!
The other stalls selling clothes and accessories were more dated. We purchased a bath bomb we concluded later was already expired.

Perfect place if you’re a typical tourist wanting to experience fried food labelled as Thai food. Even the stall which make fresh food make it different for ‘the westerners’ walking around with flat caps and Chan vests. Plenty of other markets where you won’t see other tacky tourists walking around

Ever day at 2p. But it's really a night market, so that's when it's best.

Can you eat crocodile meat? Is there a store selling crocodile and other exotic meats? What is the name of the store and google location or are there many? Is there a tripadvisor review for it
Written 9 August 2018
Yes. You can. It’s just a small no name bbq store. They have a table full of meat stick with a name tag. I don’t recommend it because the meat is not fresh. It looks colorful tastes soggy.

Hi, Dave. What would you like to know about this attraction?
What days is the market on. And what time does it open.
Thank You
Written 13 February 2018
the best time is from late afternoon and night.
Written 16 February 2018
is the market open in the evening only and is it close to the beach?
Written 2 November 2017
some parts are open during the day but the full experience is better in the evening. it is about a 5 minute walk from Patong beach or about 12 minutes from Bangla road
Written 7 November 2017

Written 31 October 2017
