About
Jungceylon may not have many of the international brands you're familiar with, but it's considered one of Phuket's best malls with a plethora of fashion, beauty, wellness, and electronic stores.

- Beverley C7 contributionsPhuket holidayGreat holiday , lots to see. Loved the afternoon feeding and washing elephants at Green Elephant Sanctuary (great lunch for us, too), the early (5am) James Bond & Beyond, Phang Nga Tour with Siam Adventure World was excellent: no crowds, old Phuket town pretty, Wat Chalong Temple: great, just wear long pants and top with sleeves, a 5 hr private tour that took us down coast visiting beaches, view points and Big Buddha on fine day was Wow, new malls Jungceylon and Central- cool. Phuket Central Mall has an excellent aquarium. Went to Siam Niramit culture show Wow!Visited December 2022Travelled with friendsWritten 12 January 2023
- Dan LBunbury, Australia7,271 contributionsPart open, part under renovations. We were told that Jungceylon was open for business, partly true but with major renovations underway throughout the complex. Robinsons and Big C were the two mayor tenancies that seemed fully operational, there were also a number of restaurants and other specialty shops that we visited. Somewhat daunting to negotiate the walkways and access areas where pedestrian safety could be improved. Renovations that are completed seem to be of a high standard and I'd expect the completred product to provide a much improved shopping experience. We visited twice while in Phuket and in the intervening 4 days much had changed with the renovations progressing at a rapid pace. I'm probably somewhat harsh with a 3* rating for our two visits and look forward to a return visit when all areas are fully functional.Visited March 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 27 March 2023
- Andrews_EyesMelbourne, Australia185 contributionsBig renovationsVisited to do shopping and dinner. However, 90% of shops are gone as big renovations are taking place and expected to be completed by years end. At least we were able to have dinner at wine connection and visit Robinson's department store.Visited May 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 27 May 2023
- GauSingapore, Singapore2 contributionsShort visit to JungceylonThe mall was being half renovated half opened so there wasnt really a lot of shops opened. But the shops that were opened tho like some kiddies clothes stores, some food stores and clothing stores , the prices were quite cheap. Moreover outside the mall on the GF , there were some small shops opened that sold a lot of Thai goodies that were worth the pricesVisited June 2023Travelled with familyWritten 20 June 2023
- Tony WSydney, Australia4,636 contributionsCurrently undergoing renovationsThe whole centre is currently undergoing renovations and as such a large number of shops and restaurants are closed during this time. Even the water show at the ship is drained and being rebuilt. A bit disappointed but if you need to shop it is worth a visit.Visited April 2023Written 21 July 2023
- V00DooKuala Lumpur, Malaysia557 contributionsNot as bad as I expectedAs it was raining almost every day, Jungceylon was quite busy. It is still undergoing renovations, especially at the main and back entrances. There are a few wings, the Botanica wing is the busiest as it houses both Big C supermarket and Robinson dept store. The nicer restaurants are mainly at the Garden wing with 1 fine dining Thai restaurant. Food court here has pretty good/authentic local food and is slightly cheaper than the fancy food court at Central Festival.Visited August 2023Written 19 August 2023

Cosy food court on the lower level, lots of great eateries catering to different cuisines, and very reasonably priced compared to most places in Phuket. Special mention to Racha Kuaitiao Ruea stall, serving the most amazing beef noodle soup.

Very nice and huge shopping mall with great buys and some nice restaurants. Great to spend the day indoors if its hot outside. Currently going through a renovation, when finished will be very modern.

Tourists beware! 7/11 at the entrance. We purchased goods for approx 200BHT & handed over 1000BHT note. We were handed back 3 small coupons and no cash. When asking for 800BHT cash instead of coupons, we were refused cash while staff laughed at us. Returned next day to use 800BHT in coupons & told they were worth only 3BHT. I have receipt to prove what I handed over previous day. Again when questioning how we are down 800BHT, we were dismissed and they pretended they didnt know english. Staff know exactly what they are doing and ripping tourists off blind. Later told by locals that they should have provided cash if we requested, not just coupons. Demand you cash, or just skip that 7/11 all together!!

A place to visit to buy, especially the Thai brand Big C, which provides cotton clothing at a reasonable price to the customer. Of course, reputable brands also have stores there, and the buffet of ready-made breads will satisfy you with small bites.

It is a shoppingcenter. It is ok if you like to shop, otherwise you should do something else. At the moment there are a lot of shops empty and they are building extra ones.

Hi we were in Patong in June, we did 2 3 island tours one included the big Buddha which u are taken by taxi too the other is a visit to 3 small islands by speed boat, the guides on the boat were fab at helping the kids on and off the boat, phi phi islands is a must but if u go on the big boat u get on the island for longer time, street food is fantastic and prices are really cheap.

Hi, im going to phuket on sep. What is the nearest office to Royal Paradise hotel to book tours with good prices to discover this beautiful island?

Hi, Most hotels have a desk that is operated by tour companies, and is always the "safer" option. If you want to shop around for prices then there are many tour operator offices on Thaweewong Road. They are clearly visible. A suggestion is to probably ask at the front desk of your hotel for a reputable tour operator.

After every 2 minutes walking distance to find a counter for tour and travels. you will get all the informations regarding the tourist places and other queries there. After discussing with them and looking through the pamphlets available there you can choose a package of the places you wish to visit and the activities you want to do. It is the best option to book your tour from these counters.
You can also book your day tour from your hotel reception but it will cost little expensive as compared to roadside counters. As the commission is included.
Before going explore the tourist spots in internet and get some quotations from different travel agencies.
from this you will get the idea that all the travel packages are including which tourist spots. And then you can decide what places you want to see and what activities you want to do. Now just go to Phuket and with clear concept in your mind and book your daily tour on spot there with the roadside tour and travel counters.

Depends what you are looking for - it is correct that Jungceylon has great shopping but we found prices & variety in flea markets (ALL around better). If you want to be on the Patong beach, there are MANY hotels along the beach across the road from the sea

Hi, is there a second Central festival mall, recently opened in area, next to Jungceylon

Yes there is . It is smaller though more modern. Yet you may miss some of the flea market bargains there. However it is more organised
