A must-go for those staying in Patong
The actual market (fruits, vegetables, seafood & sundries) is open in the morning for the locals. There are both live seafood (in tanks) or frozen/chilled. Tourists can buy the produce from the market and take it upstairs to one of the dozen or so stalls upstairs to be cooked up. However, there was a LOT of pressure to buy, even if you just want to get some photos. But... the night market is something else! Dozens of stalls selling drinks, seafood, local delights, kebabs, japanese, fried stuff, coconut icecream, desserts, etc. You can go there for 1 week and not eat the same thing! Mostly reasonably price, except for the seafood (again a lot of pressure from the sellers). Quite annoying. A must try for at least 1 dinner in Phuket.

    Banzaan Market - Mamareed stall
Traveller from South Africa - Banzaan Market is a must when visiting Phuket! I would recommend the Mamareed stall. You select the seafood of your choice and they will cook it for you. The cook really knows what they are doing , flavours is incredible! We visited twice and I recommend the prawns in the sweet and spicy sauce and the yellow crab curry !

    Fresh seafood at affordable price
We went to the Banzaan fresh market to buy some fresh seafood for lunch. The prices were competitive but you got to have good bargaining skills. The varieties of seafood ranged from shells, fish , lobster, prawns etc. After buying the seafood , you can go upstairs and there were few eatery shops. You can asked them to cook the seafood for you at additional costs. Their cooking skills are good and made the seafood more tasty. Don't forget to order the freshly squeezed juices.

    Fantastic outdoor market
This place is fantastic, hard to choose what to eat because there are so many choices! During our holiday we had dinner here 4-5 times, the staff can be a little pushy to try and get you to have their food. It's a great place for people watching and the coconut ice cream is the absolute best!

Avoid Rachachok Seafood stall. Tourists trap ! Its located in front of Baanzan Market where there are few seafood stalls which set up in the evening. Mediocore taste and keep on pushing us dishes we didn't order and insisted that we ordered and forcing us to pay. Ended up paying THB20k for a group of 15 ! Never even ordered lobsters or crabs !

The market looks interesting with great seafood. Picked up a lobster for dinner but it came all chopped up in small cubes deep fried served in a lobster shell. It looked nice but tasted cold, like it was cooked an hour ago and was obviously something wrong with it. I ate it as I was hungry and didn’t want to argue, big mistake as I ended up in hospital emergency in few hours with severe allergic reaction. After searching it is clear I was served fake lobster. Avoid the place, or if you buy, cook at home.

We went to eat here at the outside food market at the recommendation from a cab driver from the hotel .
There is so many options Korean chicken / dumplings / baked potato / noodles etc ot all
Looked delicious . We had sat at one table and ordered form 2 different stalls having dumplings and pineapple shrimp
Rice . So delicious and tasty . Just a tip to remember to specify if you want a small
Or large beer 🍺 as you will be automatically given a large 😂 it just gets warmer quicker . The atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly .
We had a banana and chocolate roti
To
Follow which was definitely too much but just too good to put down .
