Racist and overpriced! They charge 20thb for thai & 160thb for foreigners based on your shin color. Boycut the place!
Do not support places that are charging different prices based on the color of your skin. Thailand needs to stop this disgusting behaviour!

Some of the photos of this places are wrong. They are from the NORMAL Hot spring which is 10mins drive from Emerald Pool.
Saline Hot Spring in Khlong Thom is 25mins away from Emerald Pool. More locals come here. Not many tourist comes here. Hot Saline water is much cleaner as compared to the other Hot Spring (more famous with tourist).
Adult Tourist Entrance fee Thb100.

Don't confuse the Saline Hot Springs with the Sa Morokot/Namtok Ron/Hot Spring Waterfall (all refer to the same location). This hot spring is NOT the waterfall and has hot salt water that is 45-47 degrees Celsius. The hot springs is popular amongst locals and costs 100 baht for foreigners/20 baht for foreigners. We went with a driver we hired from Krabi Town (first road the mini bus from Ao Nang to Krabi for 50 baht). He brought us here after we discovered that the Hot Spring Waterfall was not only muddy brown but COLD. Therefore we highly recommend coming here instead. The water is very relaxing and there are dressing rooms and showers. Bring water to drink as the hot spring water is very hot. There are more than 6 pools you can relax in with differing temperatures.

Actual Saline hot spring is located in Khlong Thom which is 37km from emerald pool. Some of the reviews and pictures are actually from Hot Stream located near emerald pool. Search google maps for actual saline hot spring. Most of the tour groups doesn’t give this option.
Unique place to visit. Salt water at the temperature of 40-47 degrees. Locals uses it for healing.
Not crowded. Foreigners has to pay 100baht per person.

You are better off skipping this one. The crowds are horrible in high season, and the waterfall is not that magnificent, you see much more wonderful ones on the side of a road. The hot water pools in the area need some serious cleaning, they were so dirty and slippery I was afraid to go in. Some landscaping around the hand made pools is needed.
You should save your money and just go to the emerald pools instead, they are much more interesting and clean.

Make sure you go to the saline hot springs further away from the emerald lagoon and hot (cool) jungle stream. The saline hot springs are very good. Very hot. But have multiple man made pools with different temperatures. Also have good shower and toilet facilities. And the saline hot springs were free.

We were expecting to see crystal clear water, but to our surprise the water appears muddy. One reason would be it was after a downpour. The water from the spring flows into a river which also appears muddy. But the natural spring although good to see is a little rustic and dangerous for older folks. The roots from the trees were sprouting on the ground which makes walking slow and difficult. I was hestitant to walk fast as tripping and falling could be bad.
Near the hot spring is a man made hot water pool. The water did not appear crystal clear but seems a little greenish. I tried that for a swim and it was very enjoyable.
