It’s difficult to say much more than this an exceptionally large, old tree. We were in the area so visited but probably not worth coming out here from Kanchanaburi just to see it unless you’re really into very large, very old trees. It’s free to visit and quite nice to wander around but that doesn’t take very long. There are some beautiful temples in the area so this could easily be combined with visiting other things.

When they say it is big, they are not joking. You can also have some nice food there, elephants, good program for around 1-2 hour.

It feels very peaceful to be around this tree. This tree emits a magical aura that makes people around it replenish the energy of nature

Chamchuri tree or giant crab claws over 100 years old. Anyone who has seen it will be amazed by the enormous size of this giant tree in Kanchanaburi. For those who have never been to the eye, it can be said that this giant Chamchuri tree has a trunk circumference of 7.83 meters and has a bush area of about 1 rai. no entrance fee

Worth a look if you're driving past - its a hundred year old Giant Chamchuri, or rain monkey boom tree. Nice but really nothing special. The new walkway surrounding the tree to avoid people stepping on the tree's roots was the subject of considerable protest! (You can see I'm having difficulty in finding something to say about it)

The tree is large There are many gardens There is a circular wooden bridge surrounding the trees to prevent tourists from stepping on the roots. Since this tree is over 100 years old, the atmosphere is nice and there is no entrance fee which is very good.

very nice atmosphere The wind blows very cold, lots of trees, beautiful places. There are many shooting angles. Not many people, a lot of things for sale, easy to travel. There are signs along the way.

The Giant tree is worth visiting if you have your own transport, if not then it might be quite difficult to get there.
