I try about anything and get through it. This gives one the chance to walk a railway trellis bridge over the river. I made it but am uncomfortable with height so it was difficult. It is not that high but enough to get my heart...More

After watching David Lean's movie 'A Bridge over the River Kwai, walking on that bridge with my parents, my brother and my girlfriend was an absolutely awesome experience. We took a van from Bangkok to reach that place. It's good to combine with the Floating...More

Walking along Tham Krasae Railway Bridge was a challenging one, especially when the train was passing by and we were walking on high wooden structures, which was curving and bending along the cliff of the mountain on one side, over the banks of River Kwai....More

This bridge is a great place to watch the train along the death railway. you can walk across the bridge (about400m), but check the train timetable. There is a cave temple at the start/end of the bridge. Great place for photos

This was my umpteenth visit to this spot and the views are still as amazing as they were on my first visit. This time I had a drone which allowed me to do the views some justice.

We hired a motorbike to get out to this place. Fantastic old bridge - makes you really think about how hard it would have been to build these. Would have loved to see a train on it. Went to the coffee shop o the river...More

The place is famous for the death railway, but you hardly realize anything about it while visiting because the place just looks peaceful and amazing. We walked a bit along the railway, visited the cave at the entrance, took photos and waited for the next...More

This is about an 70km drive from Kanchanaburi, but worth it. A very thought provoking place, so beautiful with so much terrible history of man's inhumanity to man.

This is a historical landmark. Though there is nothing to tell you about it (leave it to the museum), it is a great place to spend for an hour or two. You can walk along the bridge as well as go to a small street...More

Peaceful, beautiful and full of History. The Krasae Cave near by and the railway where you can walk make the place charming and worth the detour.
