We came here as part of our tour and had plenty of time to walk around and read all the information and look at the arrivals. I found it very informative and moving the videos were very interesting and it is hard not getting emotional seeing what these people went through. Facilities in the museum were very good and the... This was a very informative place and you realised what the people went through. Very harrowing. Makes you feel sad.

Good overview about the Thailand Burma Railway. Lots of pictures and artefacts. Upper level was a bit too much text so I only read the highlights. Recommended!

This museum is well designed and full of interesting photos and information. Good value-should go there before you visit the bridge over the river Kwai (which was a disappointment-very touristy).

The journey seemed to fly by and was taken just because we could, being in the right place at the right time. It is perhaps a little over rated but something we had to do whilst in the area. Don't bother to pay the extra 150 Bht for the upgraded seats as there is nothing inferior that I could see... More

For anyone visiting this part of the world i would suggest they visit this museum . It is impossible not to be moved by the brutality , inflicted upon the prisoner slaves in this venture .

Very thought provoking and well told history. Huge respect to the curators who are clearly dedicated to the respectful memory of all victims of these tragic events.

This is an amazing place as we were unaware of the miserable conditions these young soldiers endured while constructing this railway. So sad and yet the museum tells a story that is needed to be heard.

Interesting hour spent here reflecting on the misery of all the soldiers dead and alive that suffered in the construction of the death railway . Poignant human reminders , letters , pictures and accounts . We should not be allowed to ever forget .
