Went from Bangkok to Hua Hin by taxi, arranged locally for 2000bht. Decided to take the train back for a sense of adventure. You can only buy tickets up to one day in advance. Look on line, or ask the ticket office for a timetable. Lots of different speeds of train and two classes available, 3rd and 2nd. 3rd class... More

The station is ok. Small place with piece of history. Nothing special or remarcable. In this city not too much attractions so may be it will be one of these.

This is probably the most beautiful train station in Thailand. I've traveled on the international special express train from Hua Lamphong to Butterworth before, and it's worth noting that this station has the most unique vintage design and paint scheme to it, among all other stations. Definitely a good photo stop when you're in HuaHin. However, there's nothing much to... More

Nice building. Nothing to add more. Easy to buy tickets. We managed to buy cheapest tickets to bangkok 44 bath in train with no seats. Tickets need to same day when leaving with that train. Now we are waiting till tomorow.

This is a good stop for maximum15 minutes. Not much to do...the place is pretty and vintagey. Some food stalls but definitely not for a proper meal.

The railway station is worth a visit, both to see the life at a station today, and to get the feeling of the good old railway days.

We got the train from Bangkok to Hua Hin. It was a chaotic time as the King had just died but still it was relatively easy. The Train from BKK to Hua Hin was a recliner seated carriage with a free orange cordial, cake and blanket. The conductor told us when it was time to get off. It cost 480Bht... More

If you like train station, this is a good place to visit. It is a nice place to take picture and learn about the history of the station. Nearby there is a library on a disused train....reminded me of The book Totto-chan - The little girl at the window.

Beautiful working station on the main line from Bangkok. Looks very much to be modelled on a Victorian design plus some Thai flair. If you arrived by transport other than the train this station is a must for a visit/photo opportunity. Built in 1910, rebuilt in 1926 and relocated to it's present position in 1967. Noted for it's Royal waiting... More
