Interesting Market

We visited the Cicada Market twice while we were staying in Hua Hin. All different types of art/handmade stalls, very interesting! Brilliant for gifts!

Cicada Market is truly worth a visit. So much to see even with young children - they found it fascinating (ages 5 and 2). So many food stalls whipping up dishes to order. Delicious Thai, Korean, Chinese, Malaysian......food. Then you have the craft and art market selling the most lovely unique and individual pieces. There was also an orchestra when... More

It's a beautiful place at night and a best place to spend your time with your wife and family. The market area are clean and the people are very friendly. I bought a leather passport cover which cost me around SGD20+ with my name on it. Most of the market selling handmade items at affordable price. For Muslim people they... More

Not a lot of pushing and shoving going on here. A large portion of the market is given over to food prep and eating. Set in a nice park type area about 6km south of central Hua Hin this is a nice market to just have a wander. You will definitely be able to buy souvenirs for home here. Regular... More

Just one word - lively. Cheap food, vibrant ambience, lots of art, lots of different people. Enjoyed every minute of this. The waterfront entry is so photo friendly.

My wife and I had good fun wandering around the stalls, having a few drinks and trying some of the different foods on offer. We both thought it was very clean and well laid out, totally enjoyed the few hours we spent there.

For those wishing to avoid the usual copies and fake goods head along to Cicada market. Choice of quality food is very good, stalls have unusual and quirky items more often found in boutique Bangkok markets. I'm not a shopper but enjoyed my evening here loads.

The visit to this market was very good. A very upscale market not compareable to the other night markets. Very good food. You have to buy stamps for the food. Unused stamps can be refunded at no charge. A must see

I really enjoyed walking around this marked you do not pay for anything with money you buy vouchers in exchange The smells are amazing it will cost around £1.00 for curry and rice £1.40 for to king prawns all cooked in front of you Beers Chang and that's about 50p a glass Try this Market and you won't be disappointed...
