Plearn Wan is a mimic of old street that carry the activities of selling and performance like band or small circus. There is a lot of stalls selling souvenirs, clothes, local food and beverages. There is also a mini fun fair for entertainment. Plearn Wan is built by a rich man whom wishes to bring out the atmosphere of old... More

A bit far put of the way and was empty the two times I went (midday and evening during the week). Though very artificial, it's a nice place to visit with various stores for food and souvenirs. Prices are much higher for the same gifts (than night markets in Hua Hin and other parts of Thailand such as Chiang Mai... More

The infrastructure reflect olden times, good for reminiscent of childhood days. The entrance is similar to Jiufen in Taiwan. What caught my attention was the green steps, perhaps that was why it is called eco village. One stall selling mochi ice cream (many flavours) 4 for 100 baht. Great taste!

This place was on the way and our driver suggested it otherwise we probably wouldn’t have stopped. It seems popular with the Thai and it was fairly busy. It’s suppose to be a village as it was in the past but my guess it’s the recent past within the past 50 years or so. It’s full of souvenirs which I... More

Another place that is good for photo taking. There's very nice olden toys on sale. Saw a few shops that are @ the cicada market. Can spend about an hour there because it's pretty small.

Our driver brought us to Plearn Wan so that we can have a chance to re-fuel and re-charge before setting out to other places of interest. From what we read, Plearn Wan is built as a vintage village to remind everyone of what Hua Hin used to be like, before tourism became the city's big income earner. Which is ironic,... More

An Eco village with many souvenirs/clothing and a small hotel is also located within the village. A place to visit in the evenings is recommended as the mid day sun can be a bother. An hour will be sufficient to cover the whole area.

We spent a little time there, you could find 'smell lemongrass' there, also a small fun park. What's more, the local food.
