Interesting place to visit if you fancy a drive south of Hua Hin. There's a huge Bubba & temple there. Can be busy if there are any Thai festivals on. Worth the trip for a bit of Thai culture & it will keep you out of the bars of Hua Hin for a while.

...from town. Only 200 baht, not too bad. Actually the driver waited an hour for me. It must not be that busy for her to do that. Whatever, this is a major temple in maybe for the whole country. It honors a monk named Luang Pu Thuat from 16th century (around then) and has a huge statue of him that lords over the area. Lots of things going on here. I found a quiet place to sit and meditate for a while. I looked over the grounds. Saw some different things. There might be a cave with some Buddhas in it. I did see a lake in the back with what looks like a large, brand new Buddha complex across it. What else: I don't know. I don't feel like writing right now. On the way back home, I did ask that driver if she had any babies. She showed me a picture of her dog.

What a stunning statue, of the Monk who performed miracles to those who needed. You will need a good hour to walk around this religious park, have some cash to donate and there are some souvenirs.
It's free entrance and there is a coffee shop and ATMs.

Taxis were not available from there so you would need to pre book one or ask the one who brought you there if they could wait for you. I would recommend to come really early on morning, I was here from 0800hrs so you can avoid crowds and the heat.

The statue itself is breathtaking, and so many things to see and do.

Highly recommend!

I hope my miracle happens.

It is another recommended place in Hua Hin. Anyone who comes to Hua Hin must pay homage to Luang Pu Thuat for blessings. It is a large statue of Luang Pu Thuat and is another beautiful temple. Must worship this place, besides the statues, there is also a large fish pond to feed. The temple area is quite large. comfortable travel Whoever comes to Hua Hin, recommend this place.

A beautiful and large temple People come to worship Luang Pho very much. During the festival there will be a lot of people. The highlight is the large Reverend Father. Going there, everyone must survive the elephant's belly because it's good for life.

We really enjoyed our visit to this slightly strange temple. The set piece of the site is a huge, black statue of a Thai monk, with smaller ones of him riding on the back of a wooden elephant. One oddity - I had never seen so many brightly coloured plaster casts of roosters - some giant, others only a few centimetres high. Probably thousands!

The temple is nicely situated by a lake. Around the lake, there are some coffee shops and shops where you can buy fish food and feed the huge carps that are in this lake. Fun for families

About a 30 minute drive from the city center. If you have not visited a Thai Buddhist temple before, you will find this interesting. However, it is just an average temple compared to others in Thailand. It is known for bringing good luck to visitors who buy lottery tickets, The next day I won $500 USD in the lottery !!!
