The structure serves as a traffic roundabout and whilst it is distinctive enough during the day, the clocktower and setting takes on a whole new quality when it is lit up in the evening.

Just been redone for the anniversary of the death of the king - so looking rather gold. Not sure it is a highlight as something to be seen to be believed.

It's a beautiful golden clock located in the of the town. At night it glows very beautiful as it reflects lights from the cars. If you're close and have the chance to see it it's good.

It's literally just a clock in the middle of a busy road. This is not a tourist attraction. It's not even particularly near the night market, but there are some lively tourist bars nearby, which looked fun.

A very grand clock tower. Usually there is a light show at 7, 8 and 9 pm but it currently not working. Still photo worthy with the other light structures around it.

First place we went to when we went out on our first night in Chiang Rai. The clock tower colours change and there is some music played. Near to local markets and restaurants.

This is not the centre of town and right near the night brazzer. Pretty impressive clock for a roundabout. Be careful as it is in Thailand and a roundabout so there is much traffic

I arrived in Chiang Rai at night, so did not see much on the trip from the airport. Once I walked out from my hotel and walked down the street, I reached the click tower just in time to hear its carousel. The tower is...More
