Really cool building, lots of funky architecture and pictures. But too many people, go early when it opens as the throng of people meant I got pushed through to fast. Also obey the Thai dress code, they were inspecting women at the entrance to ensure modesty standards were kept.

3 hours drive from Chiang Mai, we finally reached this white building flooded with tourist worldwide. With all the noice, I really felt it's disturbing. After all, I felt a temple shall be a holy, peace and secret place. We didn't spend much time here cause it's almost lunch and this place will close during lunch time. Plus it's a... More

We were very excited to visit the White Temple, and thought that on a cloudy day it may be quieter. There were sooooooo many people that it took away from the serenity of the actual place. It was great to see, and some of the shops are actually quite nice there, but I would make sure I'd go when it... More

After seeing temples for two weeks in Vietnam and Thailand, I wasn't looking forward to yet another one on my tour. But when we got there, everyone on the bus was saying OMG! Be sure to get there early in the day to capture the delicate carvings of the gorgeous white temple's reflection in the pool. This is a work... More

Never in my imagination. It was gigantic. I feel like I had entered heaven. Complicated carvings yet so gorgeous it seems. Patience takes a big walk into this architecture. Golden restrooms. Handbooks were given out to provide understanding of what Wat Rong Khun was all about. Shall not reveal much to keep you curious about this beauty. Just a little... More

Not really what I thought it would be more of a art work than a spiritual place all though good art work it must be said.

The temple and ground was an excellence piece of art with great intention. However, it was operated in a strange way. The staff there kept on screaming and whistling to move people forward in a very rude way. If it is operated as an art museum, more time should be allowed for me to appreciate the details. It was considered... More

Sure, when in Chiang Rai, a must visit! It is a tourist attraction and suppose to be religious Sure, we liked it, but it feels so fake compared to other religious places, it is more like an art installation and show of place. Go there, experience the toilet, take a few hundred photos, walk around, that is it.

Very beautiful temple, full of pop culture. Sadly we arrived too late to visit (closes at 5pm I think) but it's still a great sight to behold.
