Many tour operators offer to visit this place in combination with a temple or other city tour. I suggest you just take a taxi and visit by yourself. There is enough information available on the spot to need a guide. It's good for a short...More

Only 60 baht to get in and mostly undercover should it rain. You get to see various pools with turtles ranging from 2 weeks old up to 10 years old. Lovely to see the Thai Navy getting involved in conservation of these lovely creatures

An interesting visit, great work being done, not sure if it is the correct thing to do to keep injured turtles alive for tourists.

Worth a visit if you're in the area. Great to see Thailand taking a lead on sea turtle conservation. You'll only need an hour to take a look around so it's a brief trip but worth the money.

The nursery must be on a few acres of land with hundreds of tanks mainly full of young turtles. There are some older ones (about 3 foot, so 50 years??) that they use for breeding. The story of this place is well worth listening to....More

The Turtle Conservation Center is responsible for releasing 10000 turtles each year. I am sure tourists can forgive the rather spartan Navy base surroundings for the excellent work they carry out. Wonderful to see so many clearly contented turtles from a month old to some...More
