We booked a 3D/2N Safari to Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater with Greg Adventures. Our jeep was comfortable and equipped with some plugs which was perfect as you could charge your phone and camera to be able to capture the best shots even on the last day.
Tents, mattresses and sleeping bags were provided and in good conditions.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and always gave us information on our sightings. The chef did an amazing job. The food was always tasty and enough to feed all 6 of us. We were picked up and dropped of at our accommodation, although we were staying a bit outside of the center of Arusha.
All in all, we had 3 amazing days and saw thousands of different animals and luckily also the Big 5. Therefore, we would totally recommend Greg Adventures to everyone who is looking for a reasonable priced Safari.

Incredible Experience! Thank you for the memories Greg Adventures
Before I start my review I just want to say that if you were thinking of going to Tanzania, now is THE best possible time to go. There aren’t the usual crowds on Kilimanjaro at the moment- making it even more magical - and it almost feels like you have the safari parks to yourself. It’s also very easy to travel to Tanzania right now, even with the current covid measures in place, because you no longer need a PCR test or to quarantine on arrival in Tanzania.
Ok, on with the review! Greg Adventures were excellent. Greg is a super cool guy and a pleasure to deal with. He helped us plan an incredible bespoke 2 week itinerary which included climbing Kilimanjaro (we made it!), Ol Doinyo Lengai and unforgettable safaris in Ngorongoro and Tarangire.
One of the things we loved about about Greg Adventures was how customisable it was. We were able to list the things we wanted to do and Greg patiently worked with us (and our budget) to make all of it happen. When we wanted to add another park visit last minute he was able to accommodate us which was fantastic.
It really was one of the trips of a lifetime and Greg and his team (big shout out to our brilliant guides Mwinyi and David) were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We also had excellent food throughout.
Thank you Greg Adventures and we hope to come back one day to climb Mount Meru and visit the Serengeti with you.
PS. The Lemosho route for Kili was stunning and we'd highly recommend it.

Incredible! Absolutely incredible! We saw an absurd amount of animals and crossed off all of the big 5. Our guide was very knowledgeable and always gave us information on what we were witnessing. The chef did a brilliant job keeping us all well fed throughout the day. For two of the three nights we had Wi-Fi which was appreciated. There was also electricity in the 4x4 so we were able to make sure our cameras and phones were all charged to capture everything! The service from this company was very much appreciated and they even picked us up and dropped us off at everyone's respective accommodation. I would recommend Greg Adventures to anyone looking for a value added safari experience

Greg adventures allowed me to customise my safari experience across a long expedition, enabling me to go on smaller tours such as lake Duluti and the hot springs along the way through Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Taringe. I would definitely recommend Ngorongoro, where the animals stay year round, unlike in other national parks. Despite animal migration having started when attending Serengeti, Supa has a good eye for animal tracking and we were still able to see the ‘big 5’. There was no messing around with food and accommodation, as I have found using different companies and they luckily have chargers in the cars, so there was no need to hold back on going snap-happy!

We went with a group of 12 and spent a week hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro and then a week doing the safari. Greg handled everything from the airport pickup to the drop off and there were no problems at all. In our downtime Greg arranged cars to take us wherever we wanted to go and even came to to eat with us to show us local restaurants in the city.
The entire staff is very friendly and helpful - you could not possibly go wrong with picking Greg Adventures!

Greg went above and beyond to make our experience as personal as possible. He advised us on how many days we should spend in each park and we are so glad we took his advice as our experience in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro was incredible. Our guide was knowledgeable and so kind and the chef cooked us up something different and delicious every night. Not to mention we asked for an authentic Hadzabe tribe experience and Greg pulled out all the stops to make it happen. The whole experience felt like a once in a lifetime moment. All in all we are delighted with the professionalism and welcoming atmosphere Greg offers. If you want to do a safari right I can’t recommend Greg adventures enough.

We communicated with and had quotes from roughly 40 different companies. I went back for our group of 6 to Greg Adventures as our ultimate choice and do not regret it! The unbelievably timely responses and professional, knowledgeable answers through WhatsApp conversations and email, were not only appreciated, but accurate enough to establish a trust and rapport that our whole group was confident we booked with the right company. The food, the accommodation and the price all exceeded our expectations.
We were travelling with a separate group, who our guide was able to arrange meeting with and we even changed a couple of suggested accommodations to places we preferred. Freddy was an absolute joy as our guide and felt like part of the family. We saw everything and more than we would ever expect. We had a market experience, the wildebeest crossing, lions, cheetahs hyenas and every other creature we could think of.
Five stars from the Canadian and Australian group! Even 5 stars from one grumpy teenager. Placing our trust in Greg Adventures was the start to the most memorable family adventure we have ever had!

We stayed two nights at Villa Poa (that‘s Greg’s Hostel) and went to the Kikuletwa Hot springs with Ajubo (one of his guides).
The experience was amazing. Communication and organisation were on point, Ajubo was very friendly and spoke good english.
Now we‘re staying in Zanzibar and Greg also offers a lot there so we asked him if he could arrange a guided tour through Stone town. Even though it was very spontaneous (we asked the night before going), again everything went as planned and the guide (Mohammed) was very joyful and took us on an almost 4 hour tour for a very reasonable price.
Can recommend Greg‘s adventures and his Hostel in Arusha!

We booked and experienced a safari in Selous/Nyerere National Park with Gregs Adventures in November 2023. The whole trip was extremely well planned and executed from start to finish by Greg and his team.
Starting with a professional website, through good and fast contact via email to the execution with transfers, flights, accommodation and the guide. Everything was simply perfect.
Special thanks go to our guide in the national park. We had three wonderful days full of amazing moments and animal encounters, felt comfortable and safe at all times and had an unforgettable experience. Everyone was extremely friendly and courteous and you could tell from all the other guides in the park how popular and respected our guide is among all his colleagues.
For anyone planning a Serengeti safari, I would recommend the Nyerere Reserve as a real alternative. We were able to experience almost all the animals up close and the whole thing was certainly a little quieter than in the Serengeti Park.
Thank you Greg and team for this wonderful time! Maybe we'll meet again sometime!

Are there areas to charge phones/cameras while on safari?

Sure, the safari vehicle has electrical socket to recharge phones and cameras. It was a surprise also for us. We took thousands of photos and it saved us during the camping safari!
