6 Days Migration Safari Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater

Recommended from July to October.

Dear our customer the choice of accommodation / price will determine whether your safari is a luxury safari, budget safari or mid-range safari check all details below and contact us for more information you required .

In July, the wildebeest migration moves north, passing through the Lobo area (area just north of the central Serengeti National Park) and the Wagakuria area (remote northern Serengeti National Park along the Mara River) en-route to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve. The migration can arrive to the Wagakuria area anytime from July onwards and wildebeest can be seen in the area, crossing the Mara River. In September the wildebeest herds are spread out over the northern Serengeti National Park and Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve. Several large herds of wildebeest remain behind in the area and sometimes weather changes can bring the herds back into the area from the Mara. In October, the herds move south towards the central Serengeti

We are grateful for the excellent job Rupia team has done. Matt was super responsive and flexible w travel arrangements even w last minute change. Now, after trip, we know how reliable and well prepared they were. Guide was outstanding (Nora), v knowledgeable, motivated, kind and a pleasure to be w. Great and safe driver. Car was OK, we had safaris in less shaky Landcruisers before ;-) Technical issue w car was fixed in no time. Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Ndutu area South Serengeti was a great mix, we were not v lucky w wildlife at Tarangire but it was still worthwhile for the landscape. Would book w them again w/o any hesitation.

I joined the 5 day safari tour with Rupia Adventures last minute (booked the day before) and it beat my expectations. Because I was the only one in the car opting for the full 5 days and staying in lodges/luxury tents, it required individual pickups and transfers, but this was all organized seamlessly. The accomodation was top notch, with very friendly service, and in some of the parks (Serengeti, Ngorongoro) the wildlife came straight into the camp (quite thrilling, with guards accompanying you back to your tent at night). The driver guides were very knowledgeable, with an eagle eye to spot animals even far away, and great skills to maneuver through the mud (which was exciting in and of itself!). They really went out of their way to ensure we saw as much as possible (inc. the big 5) and had an amazing time. The whole experience has definitely been one of the highlights of my global travels over the years!

Mount Meru trekking is a unique experience, with an amazing view on Kilimandjaro. The team from Rupia adventure was really competent and nice! The food was soooo good (thanks to the cook David)! My friend had a little altitude sickness near the top but the guide Frank and the ranger Dominique helped her reach the summit and we didn’t regret it! The sunrise on Kilimanjaro was amazing! The whole team was really nice and supportive and very attentive to all of our needs and we really appreciate them! The first and last part you walk in the Arusha national Park and you can see many animals (Giraffe, buffalos, monkeys,...) I definitely recommend this trek and rupia adventure!
