We arrived as an extended family of 9 with a youngest of 18 and an eldest of 82!
From the moment we arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport, we were in the fun, safe and experienced hands of Dismas (our guide), Elias & Mechy (support vehicle). The following 14 days were filled with one incredible experience after another as we travelled up to Lake Natron round to the Serengeti down to Ndutu over to the Narongara Crater and finally to Lake Mayanara and Tarongara. The accommodation (8 venues in total) were a well selected range to suit our budget and, at every stage, Dismas and the guys were there to provide insightful information as well as share jokes and songs!
Animals? Yes we saw them ALL!....Scenery? Breathtaking at every turn!....Sad to leave? You bet!....we all hope to return sometime and catch up with our new Tanzanian friends.
Can’t recommend enough.

Me and my parents have had an amazing Safari with Furahia. I got in touch with Deo (the owner) through his boxing gym in Mto Wa Mbu, a village on the way to Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Deo owns the boxing gym and this is part of a great charity organization aiming to raise awareness for the importance of sports and he does this in an amazing way.
Now for the safari. Our driver guide George was a very professional guide. He had excellent knowledge about nature and wildlife, and gave us an amazing Safari experience. He was also able to tell us a lot about local cultures like the Masai, the ethnic group to which he himself belong. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and Arusha national park. Each one of these parks having its own unique features and all worth a visit. After this we spended three days in and around Moshi after which the safari was over.
I would greatly recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional, trustworthy Safari.

Dismas was a great driver/guide who spotted lots of animals that other cars drove past without noticing and also listened out on the radio to take us to see animals nearby which other guides had spotted. Two days into our five day safari we'd already seen the big five and by the end we'd seen upwards of 10 male lions. Some people we met on Zanzibar went on a safari to the same parks with a different guide and didn't even see one.
I was keen to get to the park gate for opening time each day and Dismas seemed very happy with that even though it meant some very long days for him. I was very impressed with his energy and enthusiasm. Towards the end of the day he'd suggest new areas of the park to visit to maximise our time and did that right up to the end of the five days. I've had many guides in many countries but never one who maintained this level of commitment up until the last minute.
He's been a guide for 8 years but we'd still see him taking photos of the animals on his phone camera to show his family. At the end of our safari he was supposed to have a few days off but used the start of that to drive right back to the park and help fix a stranded vehicle.

Our guide and driver Emmanuel Mushi has proved to be an excellent guide with exceptional knowledges of the highlights in the northern part of Tansania. Emmanuel did not only lead us safely on the tour, but also we enjoyed his competent information about nature, animals and also the history of this country.
What we have seen exceeded by far our expectation.
We therefore recommend strongly our guide Emmanuel for this kind of vacation in Tansania.

This was travel made easy. Our driver, George, was beyond compare. He made the most of every opportunity to show us many wonderful sights as we bounced from Kilimanjaro to Ngorongoro to Lake Natron to the Mara. No complaints about the tented camps or the food, either. Altogether, a memorable experience. Thanks, George!!

My sister and I spent a 15 day-safari with Dismas covering several parks. We were more than satisfied with our guide/driver who knows his way around all the parks, is happy to solve medical problems for you and handles difficult problems (flooded roads) camly. With his experienced eyes he spotted not one but two leopards within minutes - among many more animals: from the Big Five to members of the Ugly and Small Five. Besides spotting animals he mentioned interesting facts and answered all our questions patiently.
We can highly recommend Dismas and Furahia.

We had the best experience with my 4 and 6 year old kids during this festive season with Furahia Tanzania & Safari Trekking Ltd. Their customer service is superb 👌 from the management level all the way down.
Special thanks to Deo as well as our tour guide Elias Shirima, he is very knowledgeable as well as professional enough with the right attitude.
Thanks team for making our trip awesome.

From the beginning to the end it was just amazing! The whole organization, all these animals so close and with our driver - Dismas - we were reallly lucky. He es an excellent driver and knows so much about all of these animals so that he notices many of them the others don't notice. Plus, he respects them a lot so he always paid attention that we don't disturb them. And after I lost my cell phone he managed to organise I got it back - 400 km further!
Thank you so much for everything, we are so happy we did it! We really enjoyed it that much we already made plans for the next time!

Unforgettable experience with an amazing, very competent guide.
We saw all Big Five… 🐃🦏🐘🐆🦁 and we could make unforgettable experiences, like observing a Gepard hunting an Impala, or being waked up in the night by 7 lions😉, see Rhinos far away in Ngorongoro, saw 2 baby Leopards playing and about 20 hungry lions… really incredible experinces.
Our guide Emmanuel is a very safe driver, he knew every bird and animal and could tell us a lot about them.
We highly recommend Furahia and Emmanuel for your next safari.

We did a 5 days safari that included Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengueti National Park. We saw all the animals we wanted included Cheetah, leopard as well as the big migration. Our dream came true!! Everything was very well organized, accommodations fantastic, landscapes were breathtaking and our driver Dismas was great! We never could have seen as many animals as what we saw without him. He is a great driver and knows animals very well! We definitively recommend Furahia agency!
