It's our 3rd day in Kaohsiung and decided to visit Dragon Tiger Tower which is located in Lotus Lake. This is a very old yet famous tourist attraction as my mum has visited 20 years back during her trip to Kaohsiung. Apparently this place has been refurbished - nicely painted with vibrant color. It's not far walking or taking bus/taxi... More

One of the beautiful Pagoda tower ever visited. as it is located by the lotus lake, it makes up the beauty of everything by overlooking it all together. you can actually walk into the tiger entrance of the mouth and exit from the dragon mouth. Interesting walk!

The iconic landmarks in KaoHsiung city. This place is located at Lotus Water Park. There are certainly rule to enter this tower. You enter dragon mouth and exit tiger mouth. It a old Chinese rule. The souvenirs shop close on Tuesday.

This place is really famous for Taiwanese and tourist because of its architectures and idea behind. Walk into the Dragon and walk out the Tiger, you will have luck for your whole life. Highly recommended.

It's quite a tacky attraction in my opinion. The lake is really large, and on the bank are a number of rather nice traditional pavilions/towers but adorned with rather gaudy animals.

It was easy to recognise the towers from distance with its big statues of Tiger and Dragon. The towers offered great view over the pond. A lot of tourist was visiting it when I was there but there was no noise. It was a bit far from the MRT, so please be considered if taking MRT to travel there, the... More

From Zuoying station, I took bus 35 at platform 5. The tower will be on your right side. As suggested, enter the dragon's mouth then come out of the tiger's. I went up to the 6th floor for a great view. I love the reflections of the towers through the lotus lake. Definitely a must visit when in Kaohsiung. :-)

If you want to see a view of Lotus lake climb up to the sixth floor to see the whole lake. This is one of the attractions at the lake you want to see.

We took the Cultural Bus from Zuoying station which offered unlimited hop-on, hop-off rides to 8 stops in the Zuoying District which includes the Dragon Tiger Tower. It cost NT 50 and can be used to take another Cultural Bus in the same day. Make sure you enter from the dragon head and come out from the tiger mouth, doing... More
