This is a must see museum. And take a day for it. The lay out is large with some steep roads. Shops sell fromm cheap to very expensive. A very good acrobatics shows was for free.

Beautiful place with lot of statues, small lake.temple etc. Quite large Monastery with all amenities. Large Dining hall. Museum , park and then Large Buddha Statue with many Golden statues.

It is a must-see spot in the city even you were not a buddist, structured temples, Buddas were everywhere in the mountain from walking up hill. There were also different types of plantation and flowers, which lily might be one of the best species.

The entire complex is huge and even if you're not religiously inclined, it's worth a visit to just stroll the grounds. There's an area with a massive Buddha surrounded by what seems like hundreds of smaller gold Buddha statues is absolutely breathtaking.More
