Amazing views and spots

Even if it was cloudy day, I enjoyed my day there! There is a lot to see and food and drinks are quite expensive! So bring yours! Enjoy the views and start it earlier!

A large park with all kinds of hikes and sights. We took the train to the Hualien station and got an 8 hour tour for $3600 NTD from a local taxi driver. Well worth it.

Is a must visit. I read a lot about it, and though it was cloudy, it was beautiful. There were a lot of tour bus, but we were just a bit ahead of them, so, it was not too busy.

After I had plan to visit Taroko, I did search a lot of information how to make a day trip there. Bike tour is really interesting because I used to bike in SML and it was wonderful. All information I got is the warning about biking up the hill, or else use the private bike tour that will pick you... More

The park is beautiful, with numerous walking trails overlooking beautiful scenes of mountainsides and rivers. We travelled here with our 4 month old baby. While it's not ideal to push a stroller around, we walked around easily wearing baby... More

Very nice place to drive through, and enjoy the scenery. Most of the time quite busy with buses and a lot of other cars.

You have to experience it personally. It's very windy up the Hehuang Mountain. So keep warm. The ranges has different beauty to behold. Cannot be expressed.

Was disappointed that my tour group did not go to Taroko Gorge. Instead we were brought to the national park which has a museum to explain the history of the indigenous people of Taroko. Had a coffee and a snack for NTD150 at the coffee shop outside the gorge. Given a chance I'd love to go to the gorge and... More

Good place to learn about the origin tribes of Taiwan. Such a beautiful place. You can see the force of nature who shaped the beautiful scenery.
