Great Street Market especially at night
Whilst staying in Busan we visited this market several times. Lots of great local food and some interesting shops with both traditional Korean items and some nice souvenirs. If you are in Busan, then don't miss it.

    Small but nice market
The market was right the heart of Haeundae Tourist section, with bunch of local shops and restaurants. We liked the grilled octopus leg, and the hotteok, as well as steamed dumplings. But the honeycomb ice cream was overcharged, W6,000 for a small cup! What a price!

There are many shops selling clothes, accessories, as well as restaurants and stalls selling snacks
We visited this place twice when we were in Busan in December 2023. There are many shops selling clothes, accessories, as well as restaurants and stalls selling snacks. We bought various snacks from the vendors and these were generally delicious. Do pop by when you are visiting Haeundae Beach.

Great place to walk around in the evening after dinner (especially if you’re still a little hungry for a snack). Lots of stalls making and selling food. It’s lively since you’re right by the beach.

The local pub with the best finger food
We like to go to pub só we look for the local autentique pub in haeundae área. We find the cute pub in Haeundae market on 2 nd floor above famous hottbeok stand. It is called Sojeo&beer place and running from 1988.

I loved the atmosphere at this place, but it was missing a key element that supports its legitimacy - local people. As Haeundae is a tourist mecca, this market is going to cater accordingly. i was very disappointed that each time I bought food from the markets the vendor proceeded to microwave it. I told one guy selling satay, I want it cooked on your coals, his reply, its faster and nicer this way, so I walked off without paying or taking the food, the was the final straw for me. i didnt eat anything else from there.

Even if you don't eat, go for the atmosphere. So pretty at night with the lights. Clean and well kept. We didn't eat there but it was cool to see the live fish and browse. There are some shops too but mainly eateries. Night is when the area comes to life. Mainly local cuisine.

Nice place if you like street market style places mixed with restaurants. Lots of fresh seafood, lots of colors, lots of things to smell.. All kinds of seafood is on display, so you see what you get. Not a must go but OK for a short visit when in town.

Culinary lover have to visit this market. They have varieties of korean snacks and food. Seafood is the specialty in this market. You can choose fresh seafood and ask them to cook. This market also clean and quite cheap. At night the will discount several food before the close the store.

This market was nice and small. Is consists of only one road. Mostly offered was seafood. You could choose you still alive fish or eel and eat it (korean grill) in the back restaurant of each stall. And if you don't like seafood you can also eat dumplings. There was this little dumpling place in the middle of this market road. You can eat your dumplings in the back of this stall where there are tables. We had 10 small dumplings for 4000 won and two big dumplings for 1500 won each. It was delicious.

Markets, apart from offering great prices are a place to get a feel for what the locals like, there is a great dumpling cafe in the middle of the market that is worth several visits for some excellent food, freshly steamed and made on the premises, there are fresh vegetable stalls and tucked up an alley about midway down the market are several really great stalls, for superb vegetables, an excellent fish monger who not only speaks excellent English, but also cleans the fish in a way I've never seen before, a lady who sells fresh chicken who is always smiling and a sesame oil store who are incredibly friendly. It's one of the nicest friendliest markets I've ever been in. I return to do my shopping every time I come to Busan

This market is in fact a street with local restaurants and food stores alongside. Many local cuisines can be found here and there are snack stands you can buy local snacks like fried chicken nuggets, fish cakes, rice cakes...etc to eat on the go. Many restaurants serves BBQ pork, beef, fish, sea eel....etc so be sure you're ready for a feast
